splatter paint

so i want to splatter paint my room but with black as the back color, would i need a get neon colors or are regular colors fine ?

@surmadorado yeah, i think that regular colors would be fine too! they wouldn't be as noticiable as neon, but you'd still be able to see them! i wouldn't suggest any dark tones. when you're picking out colors, make sure they contrast with the black! :) have fun!!!

@skyninja13 theres no wrong way to do it! just throw paint at the wall, and you've got splatter painted walls :)

im doing this to mine but having a base color dark and with neon colors then the bed pillows and things will be neon 2 lol gonna be awsome ! and i really like ur room!:)

DO you think it would look good with a purple base and the colors yellow, red, blue, black, and green?

@nanabut9 i think that white or black would be the best for the base colors. but if you dont want either of those, and still want the purple, go with a dark purple! all those colors together will look cute!!

i want to do my room like that but im thinking my base color will be black because im doing neon colors like lime green, hot pink, highlighter yellow, and im thinking electric blue.

do you think it would look good?

my mom wants to do a mightnight blue as my base but idk!

@LiaCleveland thank you! i think the midnight blue would look cool, but if i had to choose, i'd do the black. black would give it more contrast. those colors would look awesome together! have fun!!

@01peacelovehappiness Yeah i went with white, also because black makes your room look VERY small, but my room turned out great, i used orange, green, pink, purple, and blue!(:

@LiaCleveland thats the main reason i, personally, went with white! :) black would look awesome also, but i'd rather have my room look more open with the lighter base! and i love the colors that you chose!

im doin tht to my room but im painting my 3 walls a lavender than one wall a dark plum color. than paint spalttering a rlly rlly light purple and the lavandar on to the dark plum color...i hope it looks good and im terrified of getting paint everywhere.

@omgwow33 Does the splatter paint come off really easily if you scratch the wall by accident?

@SlightlyInsane94 nope, it ends up being fairly smooth against the wall! just use a good paint, and you'll be good!
