My guess would be, that it's supercharged. At least the whine from the car sounds like a supercharger.

But I might be wrong and it can be a turbocharged car too. But I'd say it's supercharged, as turbo's aren't really the best idea to install as a bolt-on, on an S38B38. And especially not on an S38B36.
