  • This was QUALITY programming at its FINEST! So wonderful for children.....Todays television SUCKS! Too much damn reality bullshit!

  • does anyone know the disco song at the end? is that really george clinton? i tired searching the lyrics but cant find anything.?

  • "Hm. So I can transform into mist, and we have a flesh golem who can smash through most obstacles, a tireless undead killing machine, and a lycanthrope with us....Well I can't figure out how to open this door." I kid because I love. I miss this stuff.

  • The music that's being played while Igor tries to sneak into the witch's room sounds like "Teeny tiny bat". Lol!

  • Igor you did it again!

  • If they had a ghost with them, he'd have been able to just pass through the door.

  • LOL at Dracula's face 2:05

  • I love how the Witch is so sweet to the kids but reminds Dracula she's gonna still stand her ground and intends he keeps his promises

  • my dad recorded this onto VHS when I was very little. I watched it almost constantly, even when it wasn't halloween. I cried a bit.

thanks for uploading this, it means a lot.

  • The best line in this part is: (It's one of those days! I wish dead and stay dead)

  • George Clinton at 5:05 .. Classic

  • this is the first time i've even seen this and i agree it is really cute

  • Dracula disco dancing?!Who'd even THINK of such a thing?!

    Oh,wait........

  • I have The Halloween That All Most Wasn't from 1980 with original commercials,it comes with Halloween is Grinch Night 1980 with original commercials-60 min.Email for info on dvd.

  • Aw I love this! The witch is so awesome! =D

  • did anyone other than me ever tear up when the kids tell Winnie(the witch) that they love her?

  • FLASH BACKS.........Holy shit

  • This is adorable!!!!!!! I agree, shows like this just doesn't exist anymore. More shows like this should come on. They are cute, and wholesome. I have The Worst Witch (from the 80's) on DVD, I ordered it off Amazon, as well as alot of others that my kids watched. And yep, we watch them today. Our kids are grown, and now we watch them with our grandson. The shows like this is ALOT better than what is put out today.

  • oh wow....every october my mom would pull out the 'halloween' vhs with this and other assorted shows...nostalgic, indeed!

  • "i have an idea" "ohhh shut up Igor let me think"

  • Is there another movie that has so many people feeling nostalgic? If there is I have not found it.

  • Thanks for posting this. I only wish I could have seen it when it originally aired.

    Happy halloween, everyone!

  • Thank you so much for posting!!

  • @megobatman Are you serious!???? i have been serching for these two for years! Me and my little brother have never been able to get ahold of them. Is there any way possible to get a copy of a "Witches nigh out" and this one from you??? Please Please Please let me know what i can do to get a copy of this! :)

  • Thank you for posting this. It brought back lots of great memories.

  • WOWWWWWWW!!!!!!! i have looked for this for years! thanks so much

  • Disco Dracula is the best thing.

  • I LOVE this movie...Best Halloween Special, right after Witches' Night Out. One thing though - you can cut the Scarecrow kids' accent with a knife. Apparently Transylvania is accessible from the Jersey Turnpike.

  • This was one of my favorites as a kid! Thanks for posting this!

  • I always loved the ending the best. When they disco danced.

  • Love the Dracula.......He was so funny and great timing!

  • all the disney magic in the world hasn't got a thing on 1980's special effects and childhood memories.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS!!!! I am 23 years old and I can remember watching this in the early 90's along with all the Disney's Halloween Treat cartoons, The Worst Witch, and Mr. Boogedy...Now this is they type of stuff they need to put back on Disney iduring Halloween instead of that crappy Jonas Brothers or Hannah Montana crap!!

  • yeah, keep on thinking by Zenobla used to get caught in my head too. Pitty it doesn't appear to be a real full song that can be listed to or downloaded? I can't find any information on the band.

  • so sweet!!

"we love you just the way you are!"

haha, look how pleased dracula is: 3:47

ahhhh i used to get the lyrics for that disco song stuck in my head. "keep on thinkin'...don't stop thinkin'... love will soon come again!"

  • I have to admit that this brought back a nearly lost memory from when I must have been very little (I'm guessing 4 or 5 years old). There was something about the "teeny tiny bat" chant Drac says that made me realize I had in fact watched this long ago (for some reason I loved that part lol). Ha, always great to see these oft forgotten TV Halloween specials find their way onto the web. Many thanks for posting this up!

  • its been probably 15 years since my last watch as a kid. my favorite part still is when Dracula crashes into his tomb door.

  • I watched this as a kid and LOVED it. Since it's almost halloween, I was thinking about it again. Man, I can't believe how horrible this thing was. I still love it, but now it's because it's so bad! Lol!

  • OMGOSHH!!! I've been looking for this movie for years! My dad and I watched this movie every year from the time I was like 4! I haven't seen it in about 10-12 years! It brings back such memories! Now I'm gonna watch it with MY kids! Thanks for posting it! Made my day!

  • Love this! Never saw it before...and I was out doing my Halloween thing in 1979! Don't know how I missed it, but thank you for sharing it with us now!!

    ^^X^^

  • The organ player is the mummy!!! You can just barely see the bandaged face... I am SO excited to finally see this again! It's been at least 20 years!!! Whoever you are I LOVE YOU for uploading this!!!

  • no it's not the mummy. because you can see him dancing at 5:37.

...i was always confused as to who the organ player was too. i counldn't figure him out.

  • Doh!!! I was boogying too and missed the mummy. Lol! No clue then either! :)

  • @jonasbjarki I left a comment wondering who the organ player was a bit longer back then you did, and I am re-watching this now...and IMDB lists a "Josip Elic as Zabaar the Zombie." So unless I am forgetting some of the movie, that's who he is. I looked at the 2nd half of the movie...and I saw no zombie with Dracula so that's probably who the organ player is.

  • Love the ending! I was wondering about this for years. I am 23 and it finally feels good to have found this movie again. It's a sense of closure. (I didn't know the title) But what the hell is with the piano or organ player? I am pretty sure he's not one of the monsters and he looks kind of creepy...No clue what the hell is wrong with his hair/head.

  • the disco ending is freaking priceless. i remember watching this every halloween as a kid. good memories :-)

  • Np body ever knows what i am tallking about when i mention this movie thanks for posting alll of it.

  • awesome movie love it sooo much.

    thank you for posting it.

i`m gonna be a witch that halloween he he he he ;)

  • Thank you so much for sharing this video. It's not on TV anymore and I remember watchin' it as a kid. Now thanx to you, my son and I watched it together.

  • what a cute ending : ]

  • FINALLY!!! After 20 long years I have found this movie, and can now stop thinking about this disco scene!! I have spent all those years thinking about only this scene, as it was the only one I remembered before watching this. It's going to be weird not having to try and figure this out from this one scene every time it pops into my head, as it did for two long ass decades.

  • Is it me or the witches voice sounds like cher lol?

  • go on igor, GO ON

  • In all honesty, I thinl Judd Hirsch's Dracula is the best Dracula (next to Leslie Nelson's from Dracula: Dead And Loving It). I like Draculas that are likable. I know they go against the Dragula legend, but I don't care.

  • Thanx for posting Bravorage. I hadn't seen this in more than 20 years. Brought back good memories. BTW, Mariette Hartley isn't believable as a witch. She's too beautiful even with the "ugly makeup" on.

  • does anybody know how i can get it on dvd

  • Judd Hirsch looks hot in a disco suit!

  • Oh man! I remember this as a kid. It was one of my favorites on Halloween. Then, they just stopped playing it.

  • That piano player never failed to make me laugh growing up ☆☆

What is that on his head? (・・;)

I love this special, it's an original. Thank god I was able to download all three parts from here (*^o^*)

John Schuck as Frankenstein's Creature is ♥♥♥♥

  • i always wondered the same thing! what the hell is on his head its like a giant metal ring or somthing

  • There has not been a decent Halloween special in about 20 years. Disney should reshow some of these on one of their channels-they have about a dozen, one of them could spare the air time.

  • @dkupke what about a remake, whom would be the actors and they could interact some of the other characters more

  • @dkupke I TOTALLY AGREE nothing on halloween is the same. they show made u feel good on halloween, not it like were all fun.

  • @dkupke I TOTALLY AGREE nothing on halloween is the same. they show made u feel good on halloween, not it like were all fun.

  • The disco dance at the end has remained etched in my memory all these years.

  • SAME WITH ME!!! Thats how I remembered this movie. LOL

  • Damn it, I start to cry when the Witch sees that little girl dressed up in a witch costume, LMAO - I am such a geek.

  • To this day and for 25 years my family still uses "Teeny Tiny Bat!" as an in-joke. Thank you so much for posting, as my copy is currently collecting dust in an unreachable spot in my storage unit. :-P

  • Disco Danzing? I don't remember Disco Danzing.

    LOL!

  • OMG I feel like a little kid again! Thanks this made my day!

  • Thanks.

  • to answer camedy79's questin. the song athe begining is Toccata and Fugue by bach

  • No, actualy I ment the one in this part. You ment the opening song. That's used in many things

  • Does anyone know that tune in the beginning? They used it a few years later in my favorite Belgian youth serie.

  • OMG I REMEMBER THE DISCO!

  • Keep on thinking, keep on thinking. Keep on thinking, don't stop thinking. Great memories. Thanks!

  • Hidey there clineshaunt, do you know how I could get that disco song?

  • I wish, but I have a hard time finding evidence that band actually existed.

  • Same here. I think the band name is Zenobla and the song, of course, is "Keep on thinking".

  • Can You Upload The Halloween Special Called Witch's Night Out?

  • Now I remember the two children at the end trying to talk some sense into the witch. And she thought Dracula was disguising her voice.

  • The disco dance at the end is the best thing about the movie.

Just because some people say that "disco is dead" does not mean it is. Take a look at the Billboard charts of 1979 and into 1980. Disco is great, but it did become too commercialized. If you water down and spread around anything, you can easily ruin it.

  • A classic. I like Draculas dance.

  • The disco scene is cute but probably one of the main reasons this special has never been resurrected in a "retro" way, e.g. Cartoon Network showing Goosebumps, Nickelodeon showing Ren & Stimpy and other old Nicktoons. I still haven't figured out what the piano(?) player has on his head.

  • I like the witch/Dracula disco dance number at the end.

  • "All we need is a brave man...."

    Poor Igor.

  • I believe disco had already died before this originally aired...

  • Originally aired in 1979. Are you sure?

  • You remember the "Disco Sucks" rally? Happened in August '79...probably after this had been filmed...

  • Oh yeah, that's right, ladracul. I was only 5 at the time though.

I think it was officially called "disco demolition". But, because disco really did suck, the other title caught on.

  • Holy god I forgot about the disco ending. My mind's been blown.

  • Thanks for posting this. I've tried to find a copy online but for $43 it's really not worth it for a burned copy.

  • Agree entirely. The whole copyright issue is valid for things like South Park, but stuff like this is one of the main reasons YouTube is so popular IMO.

  • Thanks that was great, what a blast from the past. I haven't seen it in a long time. Do you have anymore?

  • thank!!!

  • what a classic! I love this cheesey movie!

  • Thank you for posting this show. I can't find it on DVD or VHS anywhere. Watching this show was a Halloween tradition when I was growing up.

  • The song at the end is called "Keep On Thinking"? I can't think after this! It was so dumb!

  • keep on thinking by zenobia

  • I wonder where it was shot. Aside from the one obvious set it looks like an estate somewhere.

  • Oops... just looked at the credits... it says it was shot at an estate named Lyndhurst in Tarrytown NY.

  • Awesome video. So cheesy, but so good.

  • Oh I'm glad you posted this! I loved this movie as a kid, lol. I still think it's pretty funny.
