I was never really a fan of Scrappy, but it is kind of sad how they made him into a villian later on, considering they originally added him to save the Scooby Doo show. I'm glad that Boomerang has shows like Dexter's Lab and the Powerpuff Girls on there, but I feel like the executives at CN don't care about the channel. They don't change or add much to the programming, and have shows like Hole in the Wall, which is still on CN.

@Oliver30 They had their own series, a lot of movies where they were the main characters and we'd ocasionally cut to other random characters. Scrappy is a result of 90s kids programing, same as the fred flinstone kids shows, a pup named scooby do, pound puppies, and a ton of shows which wanted to feature cute kid characters to sell toys off. He didn't last long either, his last big appearance was in the 13 ghost series.he's a generic character you can write off and the shows wouldn't suffer

I like this promo but I can't help but feel somewhat annoyed at some of the comments. I kinda like some of the new shows, mainly Ben 10 Alien Force for its slightly more mature setting than it's predecessor and I do like Chowder for its random stories and brilliant writing staff.

I think what has ruined CN has to be too many shows like Billy and Mandy, Johnny Test and Fosters. They all have pretty much the same style of stories and humour.

Most of the cartoons that made Cartoon Network special is now on boomerang, which is a good thing. I'm angry what CN has done these days, kicking all the good stuff out [Courage, the Eds, Powerpuff Girls, Cow & chicken, and many others] and putting crap things on the network because of poor management, responces to parental concerns, etc. just to fit in with today's audiences. I would rather go for Boomerang if I have childhood nostalgia cause those cartoons are a big part of my childhood.
