Global warming fanatics originated from the Anti Nuke movement. Harnessing Nuclear energy is the FIX to 21st century pollution issues. These crazies offer NO REALISTIC solution. they have other agenda's.

It will take hundreds of years before the Earth stops warming.
There are also possibilities of positive feedbacks taking place, feedbacks that we know have existed in the past, like melting of the permafrost causing huge realeses of methane and CO2.
It is likely that runaway global warming will occur.
However, don't forget that we will eventually begin heading towards an ice age within a certain time period (it is not known for sure), which will be triggered by a difference in solar activity.
Warming or cooling, we need to start living sustainably.
if you want to know the truth, look at who is telling you what the truth is. I would believe independent studies over cherry-picked "information" websites and videos. The fact is, once there is real, conclusive proof of global warming, we're in total sh**!!!
This is a debate which will likely never end in completely agreal, because the climate is just so complex. There's 'conclusive proof' that the sun causes temperature change, yet there's 'conclusive proof' that increased GHG's brings about more warming.
I can't see science reaching a compromise, even when temperature changes do occur (partly due to the financing for scientists). Best thing we can do is prepare for climate change, whatever it'll be.
Did any of you ever thought about what is going to happen in few years if the temperature is going to rise? Are you so preocupied with arguing who is right and who is not? Al Gore has a point. There is a problem and something should be done. But it seems other issues are far more important.
It would be so much easier if we just said:
"Yeah we have a damn f**** problem. Now, what can we do to minimise the damage?"
