  • ok pepole allways say asians are smart but im pretty sure there turning there glasses upside down

  • micro retarded, lol

  • this just doesn't seem too practical

  • micro-retarded.

  • To work the micropolarizer needs to exactly match the pixels of the monitor. How many models are they going to ihave and how do you find out what sheet to use with your own monitor? I'm not too pessimistic since i'm a stereogamer with an iz3d and projector rig but this can face some obstacles.

  • where do you get one???!??!?!?!?!!!!

  • So is this just some layer you cover your LCD screen with? Does if use polarization (linear or circular) and glasses? Where can I get these products from? Any help would be appreciated.

  • Correction!

ITRI is a TAIWAN based research institute, not from Korea.

  • That's Heidelberg^^ - beautyful city!

  • want to see 3d? look at your surroundings, now that's 3d, it is even in 4d!!

  • yeah but wouldnt you like to see games and movies coming at you?

  • no, i don't want to crap myself up. lol

  • @Ahya728 thats stupid

  • @strikeahmed2 yah i know!! :D

  • hold your index finger in front of your face, now look beyond it. Your now seeing double. the closer you move the finger to your face the more seperated the double images become. this is what you see in

3d at the cinema. with that retardation film, the image will seem the stand in front of the screen, like a hologram, but the image itself will be flat, as there is only one camera angle.

quick question. is the tint of 3d glasses part of the polarization? wouldnt transparent mean good colour?

  • to make a true 3d experiance as I described previously, the disk would need to store twice the amount of video footage. the tv and player would also need the proccessing power to display two slightly different videos and once, on two screens indually polerised as opposites.

  • not 3d as in the true movie sense. the two layers are always equal distance from each other, meaning the forground will not stand out from the baclground.

If you look at a genuine 3d movie, the objects which are closer to you, have further seperated layers of polarization. To achieve the movie feel, you would need two seperate viewing angles running at tandom, one angle representing one eye, which is what the cinemas do, the glasses simply block the layer not meant for that eye.

  • hmmm...while im sure it would look nicer...without the source itself displaying in parallax i doubt you would get a true 3d experience....

  • 0:30

    guy on left=fail

    lmao

  • LOL +1 :D

  • I've been here in taiwan for a while now and this type of tech has been here for a while there are a couple of companies doing this type of work .The laser 3d is going to be good, korea also has some displays coming out ,samsung etc,if only they would make autostereoscopic displays no glasses large size at a cosumer price

  • i heard theres a samsung tv wit it but its like a sofrtware like 200 dollasrs

  • where can i get one????

  • does anyone else see the glitch at the bottom of the screen?Where do I get one of those?

  • is this better than HD? 3d hurts my eyes...

  • lol micro retarder
