Was that action problem solve with adjusting bridge or did you also had to do something to the neck? Just wondering cause with different string set and with different tuning there is different tension between neck and strings... So that what i was just wondering.
@MasaTheSlayer Yea, I pulled the bridge down slightly, using allan keys on each string port. The main problem was the G string on the second to last port, which would normally be a D. Slight adjustment sorted it, though. Stopped a lot of buzz, and sits great now!
I have a cheap bass like yours. an LTD b-50. I've abused that bass time and time again and the neck still is straight. Never once have i had to adjust the action or anything. Now that I have a stringray hh... The neck acts like jelly in comparison. Your ibanez looks really nice sanded down, might do that to my old beauty. Looking forward to hearing some more bass work from that bass ^_^ peace!
@SinisterGrapefruit Ah ha! That makes a lot of sense! Especially as I own a fisheye made by Opteka....lol. Mystery solved! I didn't think a tampon make would give out stickers like that. I was worried for a second, though...
i love how u vlog pointing the camera away from u haha such a bass player thing to do lol. and did u sand that by hand?! that would of been annoying, i hate sanding, u should of used a small belt sander or a small disc sander lol
@dillydean I should have done. You're right. But experience comes slowly to 'ol Dman, and it was at about the second day in, with bleeding fingers that I finally smacked my forehead, and shouted: "AHHHH SHIT! I SHOULD HAVE USED A FRIKKIN SANDER!". I'm an idiot.
Oh 0.o well I Tryed and guested wrong. I guess I dont know my bass as well as I thought.. but now I have to go get lots and lots of stickers !
