Must mean you really know how to play poker. KK is just a pair. I would rather play suited connectors than a pocket pair. Even a high one.

low suited connectors is MOST likely to bring you either nothing, or a low pair. KK could bring u a set, or MOST likely just an ultimate pair of kings. KK is always gonna be the big favourite over suited connectors, except KA, but KK would still be favourite.

Watch WSOP videos and see what the percentages are between KK and, say, 89 of hearts. You will see that KK has 55-60 percent, and the mid suited connectorsthe remaining of the figure. They are not underdogs. And this is before the flop. Say in this case, the flop is Kh 10d Qs. You have a set, but i have a lot of outs, almost half of the remaining deck. Right? And if i don't hit anything on the flop, i can always fold.

exactly, i am agreeing with you, i know 8, 9 hearts for example, IS a STRONG hand, but Kings is still the favourite. even if its only 60 - 40, i would prefer those odds to a disguised strait/ dackdoor flush draw, that, im not denying, could cause a lot of damage if a late flush or strait appears.

@alxcsb KK vs 98s is NOT 60-40. I dont know the exact numbers but its about 72-28 or 75-25, something like that. KK vs 98s is not even close 60-40.
