Lightning Bolt is very much like their album art. So much frenetic detail. Loud on the eyeballs, but somehow good-natured. Beautiful and colourful and throbbingly full of volume. Short jabbing, repetitive sketches with oil sticks on a big taut canvas. I wish my car was made speakers. I would pop in a Lightning Bolt album and drive it directly into the fantastic vagina of the world !
