WHY at 1:16 is the flautist wearing like a a cardigan, when in the rest of the video she's not????????? Like how is that possible?? Unless this has been edited amazingly well...
The violinist really needs to keep his eyes on the music... and get a room after the concert... It's already pissing me off t look at his goofy grin... The camera man sort of has the hots for him... else why should he keep focusing on him even when he's not actually playing and plus he's covering a concert, not a lovestory.
Flautist needs to practice just a bit more; cameraman needs to use a tripod; pianist needs to stop being so fancy; and that violinist REALLY needs to keep his eye on his music. :)
It's called musical expression. If you have watched any soloist, or most musicians in general play such a piece as this, you will come to realize that that is how they express themselves through their music. Also, it has a great deal to do with keeping the beat.
Thanks a lot for this video... I just hear Paula Robinson she is also amazing... too virtuous also, she really scares me with her tempo... I have to record this for an audition and it makes me feel good because this is almost the tempo I´m playing it So this video comforts me a lot... jajaja Both versions are really great.....
im afriad you dont know what youre talking about, carnival of the animals was written in the 1880s, not the 20th century, and there are NO impressionistic musical devices in it, at all.
True, but the way she moves... it just flows so nicely. And sometimes it does look hard just by watching their movements, but with her if you just watch her fingers - it's so simple. Yet you know by hearing it that it is not that easy to do.
Unbelievably! You're fantastic ! You bring joy into life ! Love you !

that flutist is a definite low point in an otherwise very wonderful and entertaining performance …

Poor flautist. She did a great job but she looked like she was about to keel over and die right there.

I think the flutist is about to die of hyperventilation..you can see it in the facial expressions

The beginning reminds me of traditional Japanese music - there's the same "feel of nature" in this.

she belches at the top way too much. not something I favor that much :\
overall, I think she did pretty well... esp. under pressure and all.
