  • This guy is a bro I never had...

  • Masao, if you're cooking rice regularly I can't recommend a rice cooker highly enough. I don't know if they're well-known in your area but they're incredibly easy and generally very cheap.

You really can just set it and forget it and you can find them in pretty much any Asian market.

  • I feel so...proud

  • This almost looks edible.

  • This is actually something I'd eat.

  • @Schpudd nestle does'nt make water try and get your information from textbooks not off the back of cereal boxes

  • Canadians rock!

  • I've watched this video at least 3 or 4 times

  • Wait, when did he get his kitchen this clean!? No pots, pans, toiler paper, garbage bags lying around!

    Amazing. :)

  • I love how he assumes that a "cup" as a unit of measurement is the same as any old cup he has lying around.

  • @GavinGT Ya I was like is he using a actual cup to measure a cup?

  • @GavinGT It doesn't matter with rice. You more or less want a 1.5/1 ratio of water to rice, or 2/1 ratio if you prefer your rice to be a bit stickier. He could be measuring it in football helmets and it wouldn't matter!

  • @GavinGT He didn't assume, he said he was just estimating. I usually estimate too instead of bothering to measure it out. He did a good job estimating too. The rice turned out fine.

  • So many fricken lemons.

  • Nestle makes water? Branching off from chocolate I guess.

  • @KaiserTota by making, I mean bottles. I know water isn't "made".

  • @KaiserTota nestlé make: cereal, coffee, water, ice cream, chocolate, healthcare/performance food, baby food, seasonings and pet products and have done so since the second world war. so yes, they're branching off from chocolate

  • im going to make some of this

  • Did you put butter or anything else in the rice at the start? It looked seasoned before you added the lemon juice.

  • @Pinfeldorf No, just water, brown rice and lemon

  • @masaoHF you might consider adding a tbsp of butter or olive oil and maybe 1 tsp or so of salt. that will greatly improve the flavor.

  • No Name Straws!!!! FTW!!!

  • people who i haven't already cooked for are afraid of me cooking for them alot cause i live in squalor and they see me watching these vids when i'm over, it's really quite hilarious.

you should just use some lemon rind it has lemony flavor without the sour :) and that stuff that accumulates is like ricepaper i actually pulled a small stickynote size piece off the side of my pan. i cook with gas though so fire is always contained.

  • masao, you are and forever will be my hero and role model.

  • Looks pretty good! Great recipe Masao

  • Surprisingly there was less explosions and less fire in this video

  • Looks tasty

  • Wow, you can actually see his stove!

  • that juicer is fucking horrifying

  • Everything went better than expected.

  • lol at this guy talking about cleaning

  • This video is depressing. It's like in movies where the wacky funny guy who always made you smile gets forced to go on meds and he's all boring and monotone D;

  • @ZackaryLester

You took the words right outta my mouth @.@

  • I MISS THE SHEER MADNESS.

COOK WITH MORE SAUSAGES, PLEASE, MASAO.

    Also, I liked when your floor was hardly visible. ;_;

  • Woah, dude, thumbs up on the cleaning. Looks really good.

  • THOSE ARE A LOT OF LEMONS

  • Good to see you back and doing well, you seem to have your life much more together now and that's great!

  • thats a lot of lemons bro

  • Masao...your...your floor...it's...SHINY!

  • Glad to see you are cooking again as well as giving awesome talks about things. I hope you did not make this vid becauase of people who keep bugging you about it. Either way I'm just happy to see your vids again.

  • Really nice to see are you being safer around the stove! I was really worried about you before but now you are being watchful to not start fires. And you cleaned up a lot. Keep up the good work Mas this is awesome!

Very cool recipe too, this would be really yummy with chicken or steak. I will have to try it out.

  • Woohoo! Good job masao, I'm glad you're back! Looks like you've tidied up a bit too. I'm looking forward to more videos.

  • Those of you telling him to clean his kitchen - he has. This looks far cleaner than it usually is. Try some encouragement, not hurling threats and commands!

  • MAXIMUM INTENSITY.

  • @dillweed001 Sounds like something Nomad's suit would say from Crysis

  • FUCK YEAH YOUR BACK<333 moar hotdogs!

  • I'm so happy that you're back! I love your videos.

  • getting pretty high tech these days. Way to go masao

  • That electric juicer is boss, I want one.

  • @LeBrad same lad

  • Hi.

You shouldnt worry about the glass lid Masao. That glass is treated to handle higher temperatures that you will ever reach in that pot on a normal stove!

And as long as the vapor has some mean to escape from the inside of the pot, it wont come flying off either!

  • I'm impressed you can see the sink, what are the little bottles for?

  • EPIC RETURN!!!! MAKE MORE STEAKS!

  • Great video, this turned out fantastic. Good books too! Can't wait for the next video.

  • More videos, you gotta show us more complex recipes!

  • You seem to have cleaned up a bit

  • And hes back!

  • I missed you Masao!

  • YESSSS

  • I've longed for another excellent cooking video. Welcome back, Masao!!

  • a tablespoon of butter would be nice with the lemon. nice recipe dude.

  • MASAO!

Your culinary expertise has been missed

  • Glad to see you're back, and cooking again.
