nah the best singer songwriter of this generation was Elliott Smith, but Ben's pretty good. You also have Ben Gibbard of Death Cab and Jeff Tweedy of Wilco who I rank higher than Kweller.

@colvo115 haha those are all great songwriters, but you can't necessarily say one is better than the other. They're just...different. Elliott is the king of emotional folk music with complicated guitar parts and chord changes, whereas Kweller takes a more minimalistic approach to music. But that doesn't stop him from being great, he is such a versatile songwriter.
