I recommend these for seven string: Amoral, Stam1na (Finnish progressive band), Dream Theater, Jeff Loomis and the new album of Insomnium. And have to say something about Stam1na, the music is really interesting and "weird" and the vocals are so awesome! you have to check Stam1na - Kadonneet Kolme Sanaa. and sorry for my bad English... :)

@callamanster yeah! a Noise Supressor! Boss NS-2 is the easiest way to do it. Even better, set some compression in your distortion, so any noise under your threshold won't be heard

You should learn to play In the fire from the roadrunner united album. Matt and Corey played the guitars and probably one of their best solos they've ever played. It'd be so sick if you could play that hahaha

dear callamanster ive noticed you do a lot of trivum covers which means you realy like them....now i live in the uk and the last 5 years theres been a lot of shit 'hardcore' bands out there (ASKING ALEXANDRIA) how do u feel about trivum supporting they gay emo fucks when they have been going for a lot longer and clearly a lot better then these gay emo fucks i mean what the hell has happend to music these days i rerember when everyone liked bands like metallica ect wtf happend

@weechesney Well I guess to each his own. I don't like them at all but I understand how people could I suppose. It does seem a little odd that Trivium would be supporting them but it's nothing to worry about it's not like Asking Alexandria are going to change Trivium or anything. If they do, we will have something to worry about :P

@xom400 No, I'll still be doing plenty of 6 string stuff but right now I'm mainly learning 7 string songs, the extra string makes it like a new instrument so it's a lot of fun learning songs that use it. There will be plenty more to come :)
