During conjunctions you will not see venus, as it is either between us and the sun, or on the other side of it, so no, you wont see venus during its conjunction with the sun. Not during inferior conjunct that is. With some eye protection, you can watch when venus transits the sun.

@Getsuneko999 from Earth you would see Venus standing still for a few days in the sky (during the conjunctions which form the pentagram spikes)
