@david1991rules4life no that is the perfect pocket for straight bowlers. For hook bowlers the perfect pocket is a little lighter on the headpin. That's why this looks as though it went high but in fact it's just the perfect 13 1/2 board

@STBowlingPhenom for straight bowlers you can still hit the proper pocket that hookers do, obviously since hooking creates even more angle to knock them all down still a straight bowler can bowl from the very left (if left handed) or right (if right handed) of teh lane all the way to the pocket inbetween the head pin and the 2nd (left or right) and a little bit more on the head pin :)

i got close about 29 mph when i clocked it with a stop watch... 40.91/time in seconds which was about 1.40 average (i clocked it 5 times) and it was 29.2mph... which is an average speed of course since the balls slows down as it gets down the lane

your correct, its not about being strong, its your timing. im a skinny ass 16 year old that throws a 14 pound spare ball 18-20 MPH which is faster than most people. you have to work with gravity and me being 6"5' helps lol
