This was right after Koci broke Gonchar's wrist with a late hit, and it was Godard's first fight as a Penguin. Godard broke Koci's orbital in this fight. Godard doesn't usually say anything after his fights, and the fact that he did say something to Koci lets you know he was pissed and after some reciprocity. This was the start of a pretty bad year for Koci. Godard was always good about standing up for his teammates.

koci is one of the best nhl fighters in the league today who can switch hands very quickly and he throws 'em pretty well with both hands

I like how there was no commentary during the fight (Pre season game I know), The announcers should just shut up during the fights so we can hear the fight and fans cheering.

Be interesting to see what happens this year with him and PIMs...hell, Stortini finished ahead of him in PIMs last year.
