I won't lie, I wasn't incredibly impressed by how the pigments swatched. I'm not a fan of coral colors either, so that may be it. I do so love it when you do hauls and the like, however.  Oh, let's be honest, I just love ALL your videos!

Hi Lauren :) Try follow your fancy with clear lip gloss it looks amazing and the reason why it look powdery is that its matte finish and its for safe for lips and cheeks only as MAC said

I have been collecting pigments for over 10 years and MAC just seem to be taking the p*ss now. I'm not a fan of the new pigments in any way shape or form. It doesn't bother me that they reduced the quantity, as i would still be more than happy to pay for formulas like Vanilla, Teal and RR Blue. What bothers me is the increasing number of wishy-washy with a hit of glitter pigments they keep churning out! No better than TKB micas. It's not on, ma dear. The new packaging is bloody awful, too.

I noticed that the christmas sets were also smaller. Both the pigment 5 packs and the eyeshadows compacts. Not sure why they did this, but i was a little bummed.

I loved the older jars because you can get your brush in there super easy. I agree - they kept the price the same and cut back the product.....*sigh*

The new pigments are just cheap-feeling, and like you said, not very pigmented at all. They've really compromised quality for sales. And the old jars were much easier to handle and get a thin layer of that super-bright color out; now it's like they're trying to make it hard for me to get at those wimpy shades!

the texture for the new pigments seem creamy... the old ones are really finely milled and powdery... the new ones just don't seem to have that OOMPH like the old ones. so sad.

I have the Style Curve lipstick from this one. It's my new favorite. Don't be scared 'cause it's purple, you can build up the color and it looks great with a pink gloss!

The old containers of the MAC pigments were definitely better - they simply cut the seize by 3g but did not adjust the price!!! And now you say that the quality is no longer as good - I won't be buying any pigements anytime soon....

hate how keep same price and give you less pigment. lauren, the SE pigment were never as good as the normal line pigments. Same thing with the brushes, they were never the same quality as the normal line products. i truley hate that about mac.

I'm really not a fan of redish eyeshadows. Pink, I love, but red is a little weird for me. And I agree with you about the pigments, Lauren. Packaging is important to me, and the new pigments look like they've been packaged in their nail polish jars.

I'm with you - much prefer the old jars. Much more stable, and better value too.

I got more from Stylishly Yours than the other new collections. I adore Style Curve lipstick - it looks purple in the tube but is a beautiful pink on my lips, very wearable. Also love Dark Diversion fluidline, Cockney and the Cream Colour Bases. Didn't get Something New as I was told it was very close to Girl About Town, which I already have.
