He is not a Zetzu my friend, I believe he is Obito. The reason I think this is because when he teleports he spirals away kind of like kakashi's mangekyou, (kakashi having Obitos left eye) now lets say kakashi had more control over it and instead of teleporting things away, he can somehow use the technique on himself to teleport wherever he wishes. Also he must have at least 2 sharingan not 1 as seen when he is fighting konan he uses Izanagi that seals a sharingan permanently when used but still has the same visible sharingan after using the technique.
To sum up i believe that tobi has to be an uchiha by history to constantly have the sharingan active and use so freely which he can do better than even if he had the senju's cells. At the same time he must be old to have the knowledge he does that he shouldn't know, even from the uchiha tablet that cannot be fully read without the rinnegan.
The other idea is madara's brother due to the fact that he may have passed madaras rinnegan onto nagato and gained another sharingan back for himself as we have seen this is easy as it was presumed he died and he gave up his eyes for madara so could've acted in revenge for his brothers death who died after being weakened by fighting hashirama senju.
However some of the reasons as to why i believe it might not be the first son is the length of time since he would've died and the fact he had to find nagato for the rinnegan when we know madara unlocked it shortly before he died as an uchiha.
One idea that i have is that its the first son of the sage of the sixth paths due to tobi saying he gave nagato the rinnegan, kept himself alive with similar ways that kizaru of the akatsuki did then merged with some of the senju cells to give him longevity but at the same time weakened. It would also explain his feelings for the uchiha and his knowledge of the sharingan along with his knowledge of the sage and the rinnnegan.
he could be part zetsu but half of zetsu was brought about from hashirama senju's cells by tobi so not sure that he is zetsu, However the arm being pulled off and also when it gets damaged by minato and falls off shows zetsu like abilities but at the same time i would imagine they could be with hashirama's DNA again as he had miraculous healing abilities.
Madara only has right-eye Sharingan, Obito gave away his left one to Kakashi. And if you just looked at him when Konan blew off part of the mask the combination of the hair style and facial structure you'd notice he looks a hell of a lot like Obito. Plus there's the name similarities...

I guess I'm haven't read deep enough into this show to see what others see. What I see is that obito had HALF of his body crushed and moments later another few tons of rock collapse on him. @shady1192 SMH. To get a Rinnegan you have to have Senju blood and Uchiha blood. The reason Nagato got the Rinnegan is because Nagato is an Uzimaki the red Uzimaki hair proves it and Tobi gave Nagato Uchiha powers when he was young. If you don't know Uzimaki is a sub division of the Senju clan. So Uzimaki and Uchiha give birth to Nagato's Rinnegan. Unless Naruto gets Uchiha powers from someone he will not get hte Rinnegan.
@shady1192 And Obito is not Tobi. Obito died and even if Zetzu brought him back to life he had to reason to turn evil and he wouldn't turn evil, he was loyal to his clan and village. I honestly don't know why there are so many weird theories. Guys, Tobi is a white zetsu. Simple. Before Madara died he made the "Tree of Life" with the Hashirama's dna. From there, he made white zetsus. We have seen that white zetsu can change form by copying someone's chakra nature giving him their abilities. That's what Tobi is. Maybe I am wrong. But one thing i know for a fact is that Tobi is NOT OBITO!!!

I think it's possible that Tobi is the sage of six paths... He says that he wanted to make himself whole again, and that whole plan includes becoming the 10tails jinchuriki... I don't recall anyone besides Nagato and Sage of six paths having the rinnegan, so maybe it makes you immortal. Not my main theory on who Tobi is but it's one.

He is the guy with the sharigans seen in danzo's flashback when the second hokage "Tobi"rama senju (yes the second hokage's name is Tobirama) decided Hiruzen to be the next hokage and and sacrificed himself during the first shinobi world war. Because Tobi is around same age as Danzo because of the wrinkles you saw on his face and since Kagami and Danzo are around the same age and kagami had sharingans, giving him quite a high chance to be Tobi

I have thought that obito could be tobi for the longest time and my suspicions are almost confirmed with the revelation that tobi is not actually madara.... it is possible that Obito became Tobi as the one eye that is now the rinnengan for Tobi is exactly the same eye that obito lost and gave to kakashi. The other idea is madara's brother due to the fact that he may have passed madaras rinnegan onto nagato and gained another sharingan back for himself as we have seen this is easy as it was presumed he died and he gave up his eyes for madara so could've acted in revenge for his brothers death who died after being weakened by fighting hashirama senju.

One idea that i have is that its the first son of the sage of the sixth paths due to tobi saying he gave nagato the rinnegan, kept himself alive with similar ways that kizaru of the akatsuki did then merged with some of the senju cells to give him longevity but at the same time weakened. It would also explain his feelings for the uchiha and his knowledge of the sharingan along with his knowledge of the sage and the rinnnegan.

he could be part zetsu but half of zetsu was brought about from hashirama senju's cells by tobi so not sure that he is zetsu, However the arm being pulled off and also when it gets damaged by minato and falls off shows zetsu like abilities but at the same time i would imagine they could be with hashirama's DNA again as he had miraculous healing abilities.

@shady1192 SMH. To get a Rinnegan you have to have Senju blood and Uchiha blood. The reason Nagato got the Rinnegan is because Nagato is an Uzimaki the red Uzimaki hair proves it and Tobi gave Nagato Uchiha powers when he was young. If you don't know Uzimaki is a sub division of the Senju clan. So Uzimaki and Uchiha give birth to Nagato's Rinnegan. Unless Naruto gets Uchiha powers from someone he will not get hte Rinnegan.

I do believe Tobi's Sharingan eye is Obito's because it possesses the same power as Kakashi's eye but since Tobi is a Uchiha he can use the powers of the eye better than Kakashi.

I honestly don't know why there are so many weird theories. Guys, Tobi is a white zetsu. Simple. Before Madara died he made the "Tree of Life" with the Hashirama's dna. From there, he made white zetsus. We have seen that white zetsu can change form by copying someone's chakra nature giving him their abilities. That's what Tobi is. Maybe I am wrong. But one thing i know for a fact is that Tobi is NOT OBITO!!!

I think that madara is using obito's body and one of his eyes because Kakashi can use teleportation jutsu also but not as good remember kakashi fighting pain when the nail almost killed him but he made it disappear. I think it's possible that Tobi is the sage of six paths... He says that he wanted to make himself whole again, and that whole plan includes becoming the 10tails jinchuriki... I don't recall anyone besides Nagato and Sage of six paths having the rinnegan, so maybe it makes you immortal. Not my main theory on who Tobi is but it's one.

Am I the only one who thinks Tobi is Uchiha Izuna?I havent read the manga and I know in the anime they say Uchiha Madara killed his brother and took his eyes to protect the clan but what if Tobi made that up. Tobi is kagami uchiha, I think. He is the guy with the sharigans seen in danzo's flashback when the second hokage "Tobi"rama senju (yes the second hokage's name is Tobirama) decided Hiruzen to be the next hokage and and sacrificed himself during the first shinobi world war. Because Tobi is around same age as Danzo because of the wrinkles you saw on his face and since Kagami and Danzo are around the same age and kagami had sharingans, giving him quite a high chance to be Tobi

I have thought that obito could be tobi for the longest time and my suspicions are almost confirmed with the revelation that tobi is not actually madara.... it is possible that Obito became Tobi as the one eye that is now the rinnengan for Tobi is exactly the same eye that obito lost and gave to kakashi. Now this said, obito wouldn't seem the type to do all this stuff to hurt konoha, unless he was either taken over or he is doing so to only unite the villages. also obito is tobi rearranged.
