my wireless logitech mouse has an option that u press down on it and move it right/left and it lets u toggle windows. but it wont work on ubuntu :( my windows 7 got virus and keeps giving me thermal message and crashes when u try to turn on

i do think mac's main menu bar method is better since its easier to hit the top edge of the screen, and it saves screenspace not showing the menus for the unselected apps

hey I downloaded the mac4lin and I extracted it to my desktop and installed it, by the way Im using the latest version of ubuntu, and after i installed it, I got to work a little a guess but my problem is, is that it switched some of the thngs to mac like the windows that i open up look like mac but nothing else does, my desktop backround didn't change nor did my cursor a lot of other things so could you please reply to this or send me a message thanks.

There is an easy way to install Mac4lin theme. It took me less than 10 seconds to install.

Go google "ubuntu nice theme" and you will see a result like "Ubuntu Themes: 61 Awesome Themes for Linux".

Go there, among 61 themes, there is the Mac4lin Ver GTK Metacity.

Just download and run it to install. A few questions about the installation will appear in the terminal, so don't forget to answer (only 2 or 3 yes/no questions)

It although needs further tweaking to close Mac :)

The Gnome logo betrays the style.You can also use Emerald Themer to get the buttons Mac-Like...

Yo i got it tweak ubuntu has it i just found out i think you go to the desktop then it should have a picture of the gnome symbol (the one on the menu) all you do is click it and replace with one that is 24 pixels by 24 pixels!
