  • The D15Z1 it is a true vtec, if you do some research will learn more about the real funtion of the vtec-e it will work 8 valve the first 3800 rpm after that turn to 16 valve and after 5600 RPM switch to fully vtec to output the entire power. This engine is designe to save gas not to race, but can pull better than a non vtec engine. It does not have the torque require to go faster on hwy but for city and up to 75 MPH it's fine. Those engines are hart to kill.

  • I just picked up a vx it is the biggest pos engine almost ever made by Honda and it's not true vtec it just makes it run on 16 valves when it kicks in but they are tough engines I held mine at redline forever trying to blow it up

  • poor car... it's made to save gas haha.

  • @krzfly

Lol , u are silly. That is not the stock engine and definately not the stock transmission. I dont even know if the stock tranny is able to do that even with an engine swap because of it's gas saving design.

  • @ganjar420 On that video the car has stock engine D15z1, stock transmission with long gear (1 gear = 40 Mph, 2 gear = 70 Mph) you can see in the video I need to recluch to make the tire spin. The car at that time only has cold long intake and half exhaust pipe. From the manifold to the moddle of the car has the stock 1.5'' stock pipe

  • @iduimovic

Lol so you need to get your tires spinning close to what, 25-35mpg before you can do a burnout? I guess that lil Vtec helps a bit though once you engage it.
