It's amazing how many people have been searching high and low for years to find clips of this show - especially for the theme music. Until tonight, I hadn't heard this music for almost 30 years, but still remembered it perfectly. My childhood came rushing back as I finally got to hear it again. God bless you, YouTube.
This is outstanding! I used to watch this show all the time on Nickelodeon in the early 80s. I had forgotten the name of the show and in fact all I could remember was the unusual name of one of the hosts, Tiiu Leek (good luck figuring that one out phonetically using Google!). Ms. Leek had been replaced by the time this episode came out. Nonetheless as soon as I clicked the link and heard the theme song, it all came back. Funny how that works. What will they think of next?
I didn't even blink once during that whole intro ...this took me right back to childhood this is why i love You Tube it's like a Time Machine and like a Time Machine it brought me back to a time and place
About once a month I have done a YouTube search for a significant clip of this show (especially the wonderful theme music.) I knew it would turn up eventually. Thank you.
Awesome! This is finally on YouTube! Thank you! I've been telling people about this show for years -- I used to watch it in the late 1970s as a little kid in Edmonton, Alberta. I still get goosebumps at the end of the theme song.
@sweiland75 From what I understand, it was called Science International in the first season. After that, it was changed to What Will They Think Of Next, although they still say in the opening that it was "prepared by the research unit of Science International." So I guess it went by both names.
HOLY SH*T! I can't believe after almost 30 years I'm seeing this again! I watched this show all the time on Nickelodeon! And that theme song, AMAZING!
No.... I thought that I was the only one. Have looked for this for many years..... so much gratitude! They played this on Nickelodeon twice a day,,, at 4:00 and then replayed at 7: or 7:30 I ALWAYS watched both.... It really inspired the scientist and creativity in me..... The song has haunted me for the last 27 or so years. (i also enjoyed finding the theme song for danger mouse
The ending of the show always made me sad, I got goose bumps when I heard it again and, kinda teary - I guess a longing for the loss of childhood innocence.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS - I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR MANY YEARS!!!!!
You know (if you watched Days). he was Steve's evil dead father?? (step, I think)

What was the proper name of this show? Science International or What Will They Think of Next?
