Sounds like a great place to live if you love pantyhose and tights. I hope you're right that the girls will continue to wear them in the future.

Not wearing tights with dresses started about 10 years ago in the USA. Younger girls would go without them in the summer. Now it's a bare leg horror show with woman in their 40's not wearing tights in February when it's freezing outside. I can't figure it out. It looks terrible.

I'm hoping thing change this year when the weather turns cooler.

In Poland you maybe don't have Hooters, but at KFC you can get beer unlike in USA. And everywhere you go and look ladies are wearing pantyhose. Whether it's the post office clerk, the KFC server, or your tram conductor, or whoever. Teenage girls wear pantyhose with shorts and mini skirts and seeing their control tops showing is something every one in Poland considers normal and is used to. Consensual age to date girls in Poland is not 18, but 15. 16 in UK. 16 in Russia. 13 in Spain.

For those who think pantyhose are a thing of the past, where do you think all those candid pantyhose videos are from? Not USA. Try any Eastern European country bordering Russia or the Baltic Sea. Pantyhose is something that is part of the every day Eastern European culture. That's where all those videos are from it they're candid because women wear them there right now.

@louverrone In Russia and the Ukraine they will not go bare legged as soon as colder September arrives. Belarus has closed borders and is a bit isolated so almost nothing there will change. From Poland all the way to Estonia as soon as weather gets cooler women pull out their pantyhose from their 100 pair collections. In Eastern Europe you can get pantyhose easier and cheaper than the daily paper so in those lower income countries girls will not spend 10x as much for socks and panties.

@louverrone Eastern Europe and Russia is not America. In Europe it's cheaper for girls to buy pantyhose which go with anything rather than socks which are much more expensive and for girls make no sense. All girls as soon as they are teenagers wear pantyhose with pumps, sneakers, sandals, shorts, pants, or skirts and it's accepted. Even preteen girls are often seeing wearing them. For adult women there is no such thing as going bare legged unless occassionally on a very hot day at the beach.

@louverrone @louverrone Eastern Europe is not USA. And there is no Hooters here or Japanese race girls. But all kinds of girls are wearing pantyhose even w/o Hooters or Japanese race cars. Pantyhose being a long time womens tradition for any woman in Eastern Europe is accepted as a clothing base like shoes and shirts and skirts. That's how it just is here.  No Hooters here, but you can get beer at KFC and McDonald's!!! And all girls serving you always wear PANTYHOSE!

I'm so sick of this bare legged, fake tan look. Bony, vain-looking legs ain't my thing! I can't believe it caught on the way it did. Hopefully it's a trend.

It's a very hard look. Skirts have lost their flare.

@binkyver Stop missing.  Get your passport and a plane ticket. There are countries where women wear nothing but pantyhose everyday. Any countries bordering the Baltic Sea and Russia. Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia. Pantyhose don't have to comeback because they're there right now on most womens legs while you're reading this.
