  • Old yeller? That's an awesome name for an old yellow truck.

  • @PoisonxAlchemist Thanks. Old Yeller is a star on my channel.

  • 17,000 views? I was trying tyo keep the bears out of the chicken pen.

  • @UncleRice00 The pen looks real good with the chicken cut out and all.I think it is the best looking thing you have ever built.

  • we have 24 chickens 2 are White rosters

  • amazing, the wonder of farming ^_^

  • да, крутяк!

  • you don't kill your chickens do you ! there there for egg laying right?

  • @wilubuymygldfish It is a fact of life on the homestead that nothing is wasted. Roosters do not lay eggs. If you have more than one or two roosters they will kill each other and eat the eggs. We do the laying hens a favor by eating the extra roosters.

  • Eggcellent video. Greetings from liverpool. my chicken run looks tiny now

  • @brianrobertsadi Thanks for watching. Show this video to your chickens and see if they get jealous. LOL

I wonder, If you play a video of a crowing rooster, will your rooster crow back? How will the Hens respond? If you try this, make sure you film it, it could make an interesting video.

  • @KeeperofTheMountain My wife can get our medium sized rooster to crow by crowing at him...i cant do it, but she can..lol and I will get a video for ya..:-)

  • @econorob66 Make sure you film them both crowing. Make it look like a face off between the two. It would be funny Film the rooster strutting around like he is king of the hill.

  • @KeeperofTheMountain well, the thing is this with her and him...He is her "baby"( I have a short film of her and him sitting in living room and her rocking him back and forth)...in other words he is a "don juan" of the backyard flock we have...lol...and since we have had em all since they were baby chicks, well, they are attached to us...of the flock we also have a 13 lb rooster, a couple of laying hens that are spoiled rotton and talk to us in their own way and two other meat hens.....

  • @econorob66 Sounds like you have quite the crew going there. One of my older videos called COLD START Diesel Kubota Tractor VS Rooster Is a film of a rooster taking exception to me messing with a tractor.

  • Dam

  • @eastrockaway11518 (Disclaimer) No rednecks were hurt in the making of this film. ;-D

  • I am watching this video and I paused it at 1.28 !! I can smell a accident report or Death about to happen, I paused it so I can make some microwave popcorn. I be back to finish it!

  • Are those dark cornish?

  • @MrBagginsEsq Cornish Cross they are called here. We get them because they get big fast and in 8 months you can fill the freezer.

  • @KeeperofTheMountain Thats real neat. I've heard of the white colored cornish cross broilers. Havent heard of those.

  • @KeeperofTheMountain Wate a minute 8 months? Did you mean 8 weeks? I didn't know the cornish cross lived 8 months!

  • @MrBagginsEsq What kind of Atomic waste do you feed them to get them that big that fast? LOL Yeah it is more like weeks. I was thinking about the hogs.

  • @KeeperofTheMountain I actually only raise layers, this is just what I've been told.

  • we have three cornish cross that will be a year old in march/april.. it is hard to get em past 8 months or so, but it can be done..kinda fate i guess and you love em as much as you can because of their lifespan as a rule:-(

  • Real cool!

  • Hello: How much do you spend doing this chicken house?Thank you

  • @boysselle Almost $30.00 in chicken wire. We found a building that was falling down and offered to remove it for free. We got all sorts of good lumber and tin roofing.

  • i love the chicken tractor. my brother had 1970 gmc p/u 3 engines and over 400,000 miles on that truck. it made me a gm man for life. pulling a gooseneck trailer with a 4020 john deere on it no problem.he call his pick up old yeller

  • big big fan of old yeller

  • boy they're gonna be happy with all them new pickins' I like the chicken cut cut out on the chicken house with the chicken wire for the chickens. hahaha
