Set your reso to 1280x960 and set all setting to high but turn off glow and DOF (Depth of Field). Dosent feel lag, only a little bit if you set it too high.

Dude your Pc isn't that bad...It just needs new RAM, pull the old out, put 2x 1GB DDR2 800Mhz Kingston in it, and dont buy a 9500GT, there's no difference to the 400GT, its just that the 9500GT can have up to 1,5 Gb VRAM, that's all.

Question: Do you have 2x 3.6 or 2x 1.8 Ghz?

PC will always have better graphics than the consoles because it is a computer! Xbox and Ps3 both have great graphics but they aren't capable to produce that kind of graphics. Ps3 is almost a computer though because you can search the internet, watch video's, and you can play music and talk to friends, I would consider Ps3 to be the second best.

720p for consoles is 1280"720 but most of ps3 and x360 games support up to 1080p, its almost all, and they have alot of anti aliansing, at least 4x

call of duty 4 on console runs only on 600p its equivalent to 1024 x 600 resolution to have a decent frame rate of 60 fps.. and for anti aliasing, on ps3 version it only uses 2x aa.. thats the fact.

That's just what it upscales to yosef. The actual resolution it renders at is much less regardless of the final resolution.

wow man. you know nothing. your t.v. may scale up to 1080p but your game (cod4) in this case is still only 600p. This means that the higher your t.v. resolution, the gayer cod4 will actually look on it cus of the unequal reses.... lol
