Not only do I love Alice Cooper's music, but he's absolutely amazing when he's live too! How many rockers can say that they sound almost exactly like their studio album? ALICE! That's who! Awesome work, AC! If only there was a DC behind his name. (sigh) 'Cause he's that awesome. Welcome 2 My Nightmare due Sept. 13, 2011. Just 14 days away! Can't wait!!!!!
Steve Lukather of Toto played guitar on the studio version of this fucking ace song, "From The Inside" is a rough diamond....Again and Again and AGAIN!!!!
all you alice cooper fan' LOOK for the lost song from this LP/CD ...from the inside... it's called NO TRICK,S with betty wright you will all LOVE IT!! mick in merry england
@flashback225 it was the b side to "how u gonna see me now". Yes I had it, it was fantastic "Dont u beleive anything he say, all them junkies talk that way..."
This album, this album was a big deal to me when I went into rehab in the 90's.The songs had deeper meaning.Especially "From the Inside" I relate to that one so well now.Relate to it better everytime I'm drunk, too.
everything he did was great, he had so much energy for a guy with no meat on his bones, i havent seen him live since 96', hope i get to see him again before he retires
I have created the ULTIMATE Alice Cooper playlist! Just click on my account and got to playlists. Theres a TON of artists there! I have a playlist full of nothing but Alice Cooper music vids and live shows! Over 80 vids! Check it out!
Well he doesn't play it anymore because he sticks to the mega hits like most legends are do nowadays. Listeners just don't respect great songs like this just cus they weren't mega hits.
love this performace. This is the sickest and most dangerous I've seen Alice. He really looks scary up there. I know it was the late 70's but I never seen a geekier looking band! Tc
Alice is to be commended for having the talent and courage to turn his very private foibles into a very public (and amazing) stage show. I certainly could never do that.
"Yeah, and would you believe that He did this album with Elton John's band?? "
Davey Johnstone is in the video. I know Bernie Taupin was involved in co-writing this album though. But the album was done with LOTS of musicians. Davey was just one of many.
Sorry dude, but i heard it directly from the man. He told me! And as he did he made his hand into a guitarists strumming shape. He said, 'the band could get that, ya know, chugging intro'!
"...He was deadly 'serious'!!" Yeah, I bet he would be serious in saying how incapable his band is.
"...It is a hard intro to play!"
No it isn't.
For the record, Serious was dropped on the Eyes tour, reportedly because it was hard on Alice's vocals and didn't seem to fit in with the set at all. This came from Ryan Roxie in an interview with SickthingsUK. Ryan admits it was challenging, but it sounded just fine when played live.
hehe I have a picture of Alice Cooper in golf caddie shorts (you know those stupid checkered ones)... when I saw him at the golf coarse I really couldn't believe it!
