Static electricity is electronics worst enemy.

It's said that per millimeter of distance there are about 1 kilovolts (one thousand volts). There are no current to speak of, but it damages circuits (The discharge can create microscopic craters within the circuit(s) afflicted). Google for ESD safety

Ok... Kollade nyss på några klipp, och jag måste säga följande: SLUTA SPELA SAMMA MUSIK HELA TIDEN, och gör något åt texten för den stör nåt fruktansvärt (Ordagrant!) när den skymmer spetsen på lödpennan!.

Sen vill jag varna andra: Använd ESD-armband och jorda enheten! Även om fel inte uppstår direkt så kan de inträffa senare

The entire work area including soldering station is grounded. If we would work on aircraft electronics and not videogame consoles we would wear our wrist bands too :-)

Har wiikey just nu men enligt test på Amerikanska NTSC wii med wiikey så funkar inte SSBB. På D2ckey funkade det. Tydligen är det för att SSBB ligger på dual layer skiva och att wiikey inte stödjer dual med nuvarande firmware.

What make is the Wire Strippers, and soldering station, also what make and solder content are you using.

Soldering station is jbc advanced series with 0.3mm tip. They are auto standby wen put in the holder, and heat up to set temperature in 1-2 sec as soon as you pick it up.

Solder is Almit, i dont know if he is using the regular or the lower-temp with some silver.

Wire strippers are DURO STRIPAX with yellow insert.

Wire (not much used with flexpcb installs) is HABIA CABLE custom made to our specs awg32, single stranded, silver wire, ptfe shielded. You can NOT melt the shield on those cables with a regular soldering iron, and they are next to impossible to strip with a regular stripper. If you want the exact same cable manufactured you need to order 6000ft and pay roughly $1400. I have tried ALL kinds of kynar/wire wrap etc wires, they just dont compare...
