I just put the same system on my 01. It would do the same thing when first started (no big deal). Mine was also set to factory specs so I just raised the rpm's to about 1200. Best sounding exhaust on the planet. Its like having a new bike. Enjoy it cause I am love all over again.
please bump your idle up man....its set too low. hell at least pull the choke on it a lil to get it up higher....ITS TOO LOW. thats why people think it sounds bad
i like that deep sound.... my 09 busa is in the shop now gettin the alien head installed.......... didnt get a power commander cuz the tech there said he could re-map the stock computer and i would just be waistin money!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you have a power commander? If not then you def. need to buy one and download the brocks map for your bike. And bump your idle up just a little. I have an 07 Busa and i can tell you that yours isnt running perfect.
the reason why u change the stock exhaust is to lower the weight... about 20-25 pounds... and to increse pressure inside de motors... gaining hp... thats why when u change the exahust u install a power commander... so u remap the fuel from the stock ECU... just a few things u should know but u talk shit about someones bike... and by the way BROCK alien head... is if not the best one of the best exauhst for a busa... thats the one im puting on mine!

the bike traps 150 with just the exhaust and brocks track map in the power commander. 87 pump gas, stock filter, etc.....basically a stock bike
