This tutorial just teaches you how to download the software to use to your advantage. If it crashes your computer or internet then take it up with them. Actually, i found out how to fix that, first, goto where your controller is, devices, then click it, then uninstall the driver, delete the driver, unplug the controller, then replug it, it should be redownloading it, and it works! :D

@Krica5veces it depends I didnt use Xpadder for mine to work, I had to manually set up the drivers through my device managers. It works just fine on games too. But Im running windows 7 so the OS already has it, you just need to look for it through your drivers.

@MegaDev2010 if the controller is wireless you cant use a plug and play wire it only gives power to the controller not a direct connection, what you need is a wireless gaming reciever which will pick up the signal from your controller (its a USB device) look it up on amazon (search Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows)

@SmashBoy1 it does not work using the play & charge kit because the play & charge kit only sends power to the controller from the usb port, it does not send data from the controller to the machine it's plugged into.
