Hi im from italy and im broken my talus after a dunk in game on 16 of november , during operation the medic poor 2 screws inside the bone . now after 6 mouth the situation is good , i can walk without pain but i still cant run , im quiet happy but also worried because i feel pain when i close the arch beetwen the foot and the leg , that appen even to you ? how are your condition? can you run ?

I broke my talus around the same time as you dood, mountain biking tho, check my vid. How are you doing, I'm almost ready to start running. I also dislocated, scored 3 screws in mine.
I have a OCD Talus Fracture and will be having surgery in about a month. they have to remove the piece of bone and repair the cartilage by going into my knee and transplant the cartilage. and they also have to cut off about 4 inches of my tibia off to get into where the bone chip is. how is recovery? and helpful hints and what to expect? i would appreciate it. thank you.
Physio physio physio, its been 4 months since i broke it and its still a painful when twisted certain ways. As for advice... find a good book or two, you're not gonna be doing much for a while.
@minga69 no not everyone has to have surgery. i shattered my talus bone into seven pieces. in which case the doctors could not operate, my recovery consisted of 12 weeks in a leg cast. i injured myself about 1 year ago and every day it feels like crap and hurts like hell. but like every broken bone you just learn to deal with it and soon enough the pain becomes tolerable :)
my injury was caused from road racing by the way :)
