I think people follow English football clubs in the Premier League because generally the standard is higher. People are objecting to the Queen's visit because it is costing the Irish taxpayer a significant amount of money, and because people don't like to forget about the terrible past. There are different reasons why there is an objection to the Queen and I think think this makes people hypocrites because they support an English club but don't support the Queen's visit.
