The United States school system needs to study more than just the "I Have A Dream" Speech. They definitely need to cover the "Beyond Vietnam" speech. Every time I listen to this song I try to analyze what the underlying message of it is. I believe that Mr. King's speech is expressing that our conscience becomes tired and frustrated of ongoing wars in our world. No matter how many times we try to convey the feelings of our displeasure towards wars and hate, as time passes, just as with the song, our wisdom, justice and love becomes distorted.

Mr. King knows how to tell it. It's a shame he's not around today to smack some sense into us.
