  • if you get a double feed how do you strip the magazine out w that plug in there?

  • I must be missing it, but I can't find the HD version of this you mentioned. Any chance of a link? I'd love to have it.

  • @Barber2015 ..amazing how fast to judge,,, you owe someone a beer me thinks lol

  • nice vid,, plzzzzz say firing pin over striker lol

  • @Earssss In a Glock it's a striker, not a firing pin. The author is correct.

  • I have seen many"how to" videos; This is one of the finest. This response comes from a retired teacher who knows the value of concise, easy to follow instructions. Thanks.

    Diamond Jim

  • @diamond7jim Thank you, I have a new version of this up in HD as well.

  • thanks bud saved me 20 bucks at the gunsmith i installed my new lightened striker and titanium firing pin safety myself and learned a little more about my glock

  • @MMjSibannaC Cool! I have a newer video of this up in HD

  • striker umm no oh yea its a fire pin

  • Great video. Almost all the detail strip video's I saw were from a distance and you show clear close ups. Thanks!

  • @PatrickNeufeld No prodlem, I have a newer one up where I do this in HD

  • hey bro to clean the trigger components should you dissassemble all of it or just pop it out and scrub/wipe down?

  • @Glockcrazy19 Just wipe it all down as one piece.

  • is there any difference from he gen 4, because i want to try it on my gen 4 g 23, and how often should i clean the whole slide, breaking the whole thing down?

  • @TheGoodOlBoyzChannel It's the same as all the other gens, and for tearing the slide down I would say around 3,000 rounds, be sure to take q-tips or something small and really clean and dry that firing pin channel.

  • Hey Paul can you do this video in HD! with a 23 or a 19 =)

  • @JJiG Its done look it up

  • @humans4targets2 is it? How did I miss it i've been subbed to you forever!! Thanks man!

  • @JJiG I have a new one in HD bro!

  • @JJiG I found it man!! Liked and Faved!! Thanks Paul!

  • exactly what I needed to know, new to Glocks, sincere thanks for outstanding step by step video

  • i really love how youh dont just show us how its done, but also explain how everythinq works and and how the parts fit toqether and function. keep it up!! :)

  • Where is part 2 disassembly?

  • @adhab I have a new video up in HD of taking it apart....

  • @humans4targets2 how often do you take apart your bolt after how many rounds

  • @Leadfarmer337 You only need to do that every few thousand

  • @humans4targets2 good to know

  • This is the best one 4 this I've seen yet. But all gun video makers plz realize U not only need 2 know your gun, but U need 2 know how 2 photograph also. Again, though this 1 is more visible than most, it's still hard 2 see detail. If I may humbly offer some advice from a photographer who is also a shooter; when photographing a black subject on a very light background, your camera (set in auto expose mode) is not going 2 pick up dtail N da black. Use a drkr bckgrnd and manual expose if must.

  • Hey humans4targets2, I would like to thank you for this excellent video(s). I'm new to Glock pistols and now I can clean my G26 to the T without fear of breaking anything =D Keep up the good work!

  • @TheCounseIor Thanks and I have a new HD video up of the glock strip!

  • Okay. I'm wanting to install spring cups on my Glock 26... And I see where you put the glock tool and 'push'... But how hard do you have to push down in order to get the slide plate cover off?? To me, it feels like I'm going to break something. Is there a certain direction you push, or just push down on it? And will I hear/feel a click once pushed down al the way?

My local gun store charges more to install, than for the part(s).. Fucking bullshit.

  • @DontFuknTreadOnMe You wont break anything, just push down enough to take the spring pressure off the slide plate and slide it off, you cant over push it.

  • @humans4targets2 Thanks! I'll give it another try! (Love your channel.)

  • Great job on the videos! A lot of people don't realize it takes effort and time to make and upload these videos.

  • @khan3602 Very true, and thanks.

  • Great video Bro!

  • my g17's slide dosen't slide out normal i think. I pull back the slide about a half inch back, hold down the slide release, but then the slide only gose up a little bit than stops. I always just end up having to pull the trigger to release the slide all the way. Am I doing something wrong? Is it ok to pull the trigger while the slide is cocked foreward?

  • @123VampireSucks You have to pull the trigger before taking the slide off that is part of the takedown.

  • Great video! Actually easier to follow than a guide posted by a Glock gunsmith, so kudos!

I can hear your dog drinking in the background at 1:36, though. Not a bad thing, just made me go, "WTF is that noise?"

    Yeah, I get distracted easily.

  • Thanks, This video was great. Now I can clean with out worry.

    meg

  • Thanks for the video, If you have other guns you can do another detail strip videos ??

  • do all Glocks in all calibers detail strip the same way?

  • @adrianrubi Yes they do

  • Awesome video series dude! Very helpful and informative! I would not have had the confidence to do a detail strip on my own without this series. Great work.

  • Nice work on the video

I am hoping to get a g22 soon and this video answers a lot of questions. Its similar to springfield XD & XD-M (or visa versa since glock came out first).

    Keep up the good work.

    :)

  • Just bought the G30. Thanks for the video.

  • No problem, if you have any questions while taking it apart just let me know.

  • 5 stars Awesome vid Paul. Never knew the Glock had so many parts.

  • Nice work Paul with this vid i can break down the sw9ve about the same way! thanks!

  • Ditto on 510shooter510. A great series my friend.5*s and favorite. Thanks for the hard work.

  • No prob Bill, if I can be of any help just let me know. Paul

  • Holy crap this video is awesome! The way you went through each part in detail is top notch. Thanks for sharing the info. I have a feeling that this is going to become your most popular video series. I think I heard Tactical Snoopy (your dog) drinking water in the background :).

  • Now that is funny "Tactical Snoopy" LOL, I can't belive you heard that and knew what it was.. Funny.. Paul

  • thanks for the video as a new glock owner was very helpful

  • Glad I could help

  • Another Solid Video Brought to by Humans4targets

  • Thanks GlockAnimal!

  • Sweet vid Paul...I've had my Glock for 9 years and never taken it down this far....I will be doing it tonight. Nice job.

  • not kissing your ass dude, but this is actually the best video of detail stripping a glock currently on YouTube. Reason is because you are going through slowly and explaining how each part works and fits together. Vid shows very clear as well. Have watched others do this, but they either dont show well on camera or dont explain a part. Hope this receives the amount of views it deserves bro.

  • Hey thanks a lot man, my goal is to have even a non shooter see this and under stand it. Paul

  • No problem.

  • Not easy to do while behind the camera. Great Vid

  • Really it is so different to take guns apart while looking through the camera.. Paul
