Your dogs are fantastic, I hate those people who cut there ears off. Your presa is how a presa should be!... I would love to see how big he is now! I used to have a Pit cross and she lived 16 and half years, best dog ever.

Seems like I read that pressa is for herding the bulls that are used in Bull Fighting in Spain. The best fighting bulls come from the Canary Islands where they are raised with as little human contact as possible. (they want a bull who will be aggresive and need a tough dog to get them to move into pens)

@v12793  eso es que lo conoces poco o nada, la pinta es una cosa y lo que es el perro es otra, por estadísticas el rottweiller es mucho más peligroso para atacar a la gente y a niños, el presa jamás ataca a un niño, es más se deja dar tirones de orejas y de todo, en eso se parece mucho al pastor alemán, otro pedazo de raza, e s mi preferida, la diferencia de caracter entre el presa y el pitbul es de años luz, y de fisico el presa es más grande, como 20kg más pesado y de otro color

thanks for posting this - my kid got a dog at the humane society and they had no idea what she is so they labeled her a boxer mix - she looks and moves just like your Presa canario, and is that lovely brindle color. I think the humane society had no idea what she was, but now I have a pretty good idea, LOL! He has done a great job raising her - she is sweet and lovable, other than dominance action towards other dogs from not enough interaction, and he is working on that.

Here here bigdave about showing the playfull side to the breed, i`m new to this breed an i`ve seen some vids with making the dog aggressive an have 2 minds to the dogs. Yeah there a graud dog but watching yours playing with the pits show`s there just like any other dog it`s how they play like any other breed mine do it my mates dogs do it, It teaching um to bond with other breeds as well. Those dogs are great! I love how all of them have thier ears and tails! I have been looking into presa canarios before, but I was finding it hard to see what they look like "complete" (As I really cant stand cropping or docking). I must say, they look better that I imagined! Thanks for the great upload, and showing people that Pits and Presas are NOT these terrible viscious animals people think they are!

@combatesdeboxeo listen, if you really want to talk about dogs and which one is the toughest, then you would be talking about the tosa inu. those dogs were bred to fight only, their real fighting breed. canario's and rotts are mainly working dogs and strong, but if you want to talk about pure fighting then a tosa inu would own them both.

There is some debate on the amount of white acceptable on Presa's. The UKC will disqualify a Presa Canario if it has "white markings covering more than 20% of it body." Conan has less than 10%.
