I would recommend this deal to anyone. The coverage with net10 is top quality, the phones are great and with the $50 unlimited everything, the savings are huge...
@43LiveLong Each to his own and I know a couple of younger folk who love the fantasy concept behind the genie theme. Why on earth would you waste your time starting a petition-don't like the genies, then enjoy the great Net10 prices and flexibility, but don't watch the commercials.
@gmenblue50 I also like net10 because of the phone selection; they've definitely been keeping up with times in a technological sense. I'm also happy that they have NOT kept up with the rising prices of cell phone bills. My bill is never a surprise or a heart attack at the end of the month and I couldnt ask for more!!
I like net 10 b/c they have some really cool phones to choose from. All the other prepaid plans i looked at either have good phones OR national coverage. I do a lot of traveling and need a national network but also like to browse the web and respond to emails.
THeres the genie i cant stand. I wanna start a petition to do away with this Genie guy. Net10 you are a good company and i am happy to be a customer but i do not like this genie. Sorry if i was too blunt but someone needs to take a stand here.
@ravekid23 I've had 4g network coverage too before I switched to net10 and can hardly tell the difference. Im very happy with getting the same coverage at a fraction of the price. Its also pretty inexpensive to make some international calls and thats a hard feature to find these days. I dont think i'll ever switch back to a contracted cell phone plan after seeing the net10 side of things.
Well then 4bahamamama I guess that if anyone is looking for a new prepaid cell phone plan the choice would be easy to make, to use Net10 because they offer the best coverage and reception, offer the best service and have 3 different plans to choose from, ie: for $50 unlimited, $25/750 minutes and $15 / 200 minutes which are really great value for money and you can get a reliable phone for as little as $15 to more sophisticated phones at really nice prices.
I didn't know up until the other day that Net10 won the JD Power award for the highest quality of service excellence for 2 years in a row now and it's a award specifically praising the highest quality of . Wow I'ts no wonder I've been using them because they just see to my every need, offer the BEST coverage in the whole of the US because the Net10 customer service lady says Net10 uses 3 different networks to suit you best, AT&T, Verizon and T-mobile. Bravo Net10!
If you're worried about bad service, definitely get Net 10. I had shitty service all the time when I was on metro PCS, but Net 10 uses AT&T and verizon networks, so you get the best of both worlds, the affordability of prepaid and the reliability of the best networks. I mean who can beat that?
@jessiedonut54 I know, the service is awesome! I only heard net10 was on the verizon network, didn't know they were on the At&t network too. Pretty sweet getting postpaid coverage at prepaid prices:)
For my teenage girls the Net10 $25/750minutes plan is just great, they talk and text allot so 25 talk minutes a day for each day of the month and they have to phone me at work week days in the afternoons to tell me what they are doing. I don't have to worry about their phone bill out of control which is one less worry for me.
Folks, if you're not under a contract, switch to Net10 today! If you are, then switch the moment your contract is over. You will not regret it! You can be getting great unlimited phone service for only $50 a month!
@XatechChaos what's hard to believe about 50 bucks a month for unlimited everything? Oh wait that's REALLY hard to believe. Too bad for you that I save like 80 bucks a month and you're probably overpaying on your phone.
i had no idea how much cheaper net 10 was until i saw these commercials... as soon as my contract was up with my last cellphone i switched and it's nice because i don't even have a contract now
haha brilliant! These Net10 pre paid ads really do just make you feel absolutely idiotic for even considering not switching to Net10. Pre paid really does seem like the ay of the future - all the hidden costs on contract deals are just such a rip off and clearly very unnecessary!
just like the fellow posters below i too have saved money since i switched to net10. There is no way not to, they offer great, reliable nationwide network coverage, unlimited calls, messages, and internet for just $50, this same package would cost you $120 more or less at a big network company and with a contract. AT&T backs net10, so you know there won't be problems with the coverage.
Now that I know I can trust Net10's values which are cheap prices and phones, giving me freedom to choose and delivering quality service I feel that I won't ever have to shop around for cheaper prices anywhere else ever. I trust them and know that they want to make the customer happy at great lengths and effort on their part.
Net10's plans are really saving me about $800 a year now compared to my families cell phone costs on our previous contract.
@birdlegs3 Me too. The savings that I am getting are just unbelievable and they almost sound too good to be true. When my friend told me about this cellphone I didn't believe it, but now that I own it, I am in love with the everything unlimited plan by Net10. All the features that I could ever want in a cell, will all the savings that I could ever want!
Sorry to say my friends but net10, like most other budget phone services, uses EDGE technology for it's mobile internet. There's a reason why it's cheap, you get what you pay for. I think I'll stick with my 4G sprint service thanks.
@ravekid23 I would rather use my lap-top for serious internet use and put the $700.00 I save with Net10 unlimited to better use! I know that some people don't have to be careful with money but I do and I hate being stung by hidden fees, long distance charges and roaming when I don't have to and with Net10 I have everything I need and then some!
@flycamper I'm not sure where that arbitrary number of $700 is coming from, but my bill is always the same every month. I have no hidden charges, no roaming charges nor no long distance charges(seriously?) and as far a using your laptop, I highly doubt you carry it around with you at all times. On top of that I doubt you spend the money for a dedicated mobile broadband card to be able to use your laptop for internet on the go. I can use my sprint internet for my phone or my pc via tethering.
@jimmydarmody713 Well that is actually what most people did till recently...and for a good reason- prepaid was far more restricted to your low usage customer; those who use their phones mainly for emergencies. In recent years though, they've steadily been offering more, and Net10's unlimited is still 1 of the best offers out there-both from a monetary and coverage point of view. And the biggest plus for me is no contracts or hidden fees.
i have got to admit i am pretty happy with net10. What they advertise is really what they have. I wasnt so sure about prepaid phones and there whole No fee things I thought was ridiculous. But so far so good. I really havent had any issues or problems with them yet. I like the service and really like my phone. I have the Samsung-r451c. Great slider keyboard. Easy to use. and he price is great. you cant go wrong on that.
@cindyherm1 Ya one thing about Net10 is you know exactly what you are getting, money = minutes for a reasonable rate. If you need unlimited minutes, you can have em for only 50 bucks. It's impossible to hide anything from you because they dont get you to sign anything.
@nuckyt305 Yeah I think that's why they make you sign the contract, once you figure out that you're being ripped off it's already too late and you're in their pocket for two whole years! Plus they bait you with the offer of cheap phones. Not worth it! Net10 for me!
@mschroder799 Well I didn't know any of this. I've been using contract phones for my whole life just because I figured that's what people do. But I guess there's a growing amount of you who think that prepaid is actually BETTER. The deal does sound pretty good...
ok the commercial is cheesy but come on this is a good deal. for $50 you get nothing with the contract plans. not to mention unlimited. no way. and there are a few options with the net 10 phones even though the unlimited is really the way to go because it is unlimited for a flat rate.
This cellphone is really all that i could ever wish for! Just $50 a month gets me the best plan out there right now period! unlimited talk, text, email, web access and free 411 is all that I could ever want in a cellphone!
definately no magic, even though it looks like it. unlimited talk, text and data for only $50 a month is a total bargain, unheard of but definately true, i know because i now have this prepaid plan from net10 aswell. my parents got me the samsung t401 qwerty to go with it,and they will pay my $50 a month aswell,as long as i am at college they said. the phone has got camerea,mp3 player and video and i just can't stop playing around with it.great stuff, am real happy with this net10 phone and plan
The net10 genie is awesome- he saves me $65 a month! And he gives me better coverage than I've got with any providers in the past. Wouldn't mind if he gave me a date with that girl tho:)
Net10 unlimited genie huh? I guess i can see that. Net10 Unlimited does provide me with everything i could wish for...good service, good phone, good cost! I guess the whole genie thought is quite fitting.
this service is great! ulimited talk, text, and email for just $50! I encourage anyone who reads this to switch to net10 if you're not already a customer. it works nationwide, with great service and no contract. you don't get all of that from just one provider these days.
I am actually an old-time user of NET10 and have always used them out of choice. My fairly low to medium usage made them the most logical and economical choice. Just recently however I have been using my cell a whole lot more so this unlimited plan comes at just the right time. Now I don't have to switch carriers - something I really didn't want to do 'cause the NET10 coverage is so good round here.
@thedive777 I was another person who really didn't do the whole prepaid thing until NET10 because another deal didn't catch my eye till this one. Their customer service is actually award winning and I never had that with AT&T, in fact it was the total opposite. This new unlimited plan sounds like another great deal and I'm looking forward to trying it out next month and through December when I do my big talking and texting.
I have the net10 unlimited plan and it is the best option out there for a wireless plan nowadays. Very cheap and easy to use with no contracts to fill out, no monthly bills, and no hidden fees. I dont know where I was like 2 years ago but thank goodness i switched over to net10!
@Breakdownthefunk yeah I was never comfortable with those anyway, why do they feel the need to lock you down for two years? I like Net10 because they offer great prices and great service so they don't need to get you to sign in order to stay with them for a long period of time.
Love Net10! In this day and age we can't all afford to be tied down to two year contracts, I have no idea what my income will be in sixth months much less two years. And why is it so much more expensive? Net10 is a great solution for the budget crunch.
Not sure "unlimited stuff" would be my first wish from a genie, maybe world peace or something :) Especially because I already have unlimited everything on my cell phone, and like they said, without a contract. Great deal.
@joshthorpe99 I think he's just the cell phone genie or something. But yeah, you really don't need anything else if you've got their unlimited plan, it includes data/talk/text/411. What else do you use a phone for?
Well I actually switched completely by choice because I had a friend just like you who loved it and told me to ditch the contract. Came in with high expectations and haven't been disappointed!
My switch to prepaid wasn't by my own choice. My staying with Net10 is 100% by my own choice! They have proven themselves over and over, with their reliable coverage, no hidden fees and excellent value. The unlimited plan just made things even better. Now I don't need to keep tabs on my minutes and at such a reasonable rate. I suspect being able to switch to less when needed is also really going to come in handy in Jan!
@tipsyturvy100 Yeah I used to be kind of wary of prepaid plans, thought they were cheap, but this service is great, its completely unlimited, and it's way cheaper than a comparable contract plan but without the bs. I guess Net10 is changing the game.
If you go with this service, you must spend at least $150 on a phone. Any pre-paid that is cheaper than $150 is crap
