This song has always had a special place in my heart. Recently, I watched a documentary called "The Cove" by Ric O'Barry and his team on the slaughter of these innocent creatures in Taiji, Japan. The film brought many tears to my eyes and I hope all those involved will help stop this senseless act of greed. Aww I just love this song from Olivia's Physical album. It's so beautiful it makes me cry. Mainly cause I'm such an animal and nature lover like Livy. She's a very spiritual person, beautiful inside and out. and was an advocate for animal/environmental protection long before it was fashionable. I had the privilege of swimm ing with dolphins in Cancun Mexico, and it was just magical. Yes, Olivia these intelligent, gentle and magnificent mammals certainy deserve to be 'treasured' and protected.

I saw this video in 1982 at Rupp Arena in Lexington Ky. It was shown on a wide screen as part of the backdrop for her stage props. I was 18 at the time and Olivia Newton John had came to town to perform. I can't help remembering how gorgeous she was even wet. Some people just fall apart when water hits them, but now her.I also was awakened by just how passionate she was as an advocate for the fight for animal rights. 23 years later, here in Nashville,I met Olivia in person, a dream come true.

This is one issue that needs to be addressed with our friends in Japan. Dolphins are not protected, among other others that get in the way of fishing industry. As sweet as this song is, Olivia cancelled concerts in Japan to boycott whale and dolphin massacres in the name of fishing industry. It is still happening.

I am an absolute Dolphin fanatic as anyone who knows me can attest to. These creatures are just the personification of Love Joy and Peace. Humans can learn so much by watching their kinder and far more intelligent brethren known as the Dolphin.
