Was the test done under a load on the generator?

@tnwindpower Yes, it was hooked up to a lawnmower battery at the base of the tower. I had both a voltmeter and ammeter hooked up at the time.

@iamthequist Yeah, we made the whole thing by my self. I found the motor on craigslist for $30, the rotating tower part is from our old lawnmower deck, and the blades I hand carved myself. This is roughly version 5 or 6 of this windmill.

@MrPizzaman09 You guys are going to engineering school right? That thing is cool. I wish I had that kind of skill.
@iamthequist Yeah, we are both M.E.'s If you want to see skill, take a look at our battlebots ( 100x harder to build than this ).
