I was eight or nine I think...And honestly kids who have to go that far tend to do so by themselves now adays but god...No kid should get close to the car and ask the stranger anythng. Just keep going and ignore them or say: "MOM TOLD ME NOT TO TALK TO STRANGERS!" And run on to ther destination.

I actually almost got kidnapped once by a guy trying to get me to help him find his dog from his car. I was pretty far up and my mother screamed at me from the doorway to run back inside. He showed up again with a dog leash when the officer was there and gave a bogus story. I don't remember much except for saying: "I was far up in the yard mommy...I wasnt' gonna get in the car with him. I promise." All I had been doing was remembering that day's episode of TmeBlazers whilst playing with my ball.

This video is bogus. The only way to protect your child is being their with your child. Know your neighbors, child's friends their parents where they live. Children get hurt from those trusted by the child or by you the parent not just "strangers" Leave it to the media to sell us such malarky. Every body knows the chances of our children getting hurt are from those the child trusts and their parents trust. So Again it's up to the parents! Not the media government or laws THE PARENT!!!

Make sure kids know most abductions are by people they know. Also, while it is scary children must know that if abducted by a stranger they WILL kill them unless they do everything they can to try and escape immediately.
