You can even have a private/universal system running side by side as they do in Australia. Then the people choose which system they want. All the other western nations solved this "dilemma" 60 years ago. Our systems work fine and everyone is covered. The problem is the market just refuses to cover "high risk" customers, or they make it so expensive to get coverage that no-one can afford it. Then what? What would Ron Paul do in this situation? Regulate and force the private insurers to cover them, or just let them die? Theres only 2 choices.

You can even have a private/universal system running side by side as they do in Australia. Then the people choose which system they want. All the other western nations solved this "dilemma" 60 years ago. Our systems work fine and everyone is covered. We actually have MORE choice in Australia because you can choose which system to use, you're not forced into one or another.
