I have three questions; (1) why did Nakada have to retie his Men, (2) why did he take the trouble to put his Shinai on his right side, and (3) who is he?
(1) For many valid reasons as you must have experienced if you are a kendoka; (2) Good question, maybe he didn't even realize it; (3) Member of the Keishicho (Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department), 6th Dan, 35 years old.
the kote-men was really fast, not that i have to mention the speed of the stirke. He just hit in the second where his opponotent was "open". The last point looked for me aiuchi, but i think when you analyse it in slow-motion, you will see that yang was faster.
Chris Yanh does not do kendo. He is good at stickfighting, but little else. That second ippon was definately Nakata's ippon, and the spanish judge was in a good place to see it. What a farce. Have you ever seen the yang brothers in some of the american taikai? They are animals, that regularly flout the rules. Not good kendo at all.
Who are you to talk about Chris Yang like that? His dedication to kendo surpasses anything you can demonstrate. The second point was perfectly fine -- whatever the spanish shinpan may have thought, that's why there are 3 shinpan to make decisions on points. And yes, I HAVE seen the Yang brothers at several taikai -- they follow the rules just fine. Everybody here respects them for their dedication to kendo, which wouldn't happen if it was "not good kendo."
@TraviO89 don't hate, congratulate!
