  • @TraviO89 don't hate, congratulate!

  • I have three questions; (1) why did Nakada have to retie his Men, (2) why did he take the trouble to put his Shinai on his right side, and (3) who is he?

  • (1) For many valid reasons as you must have experienced if you are a kendoka; (2) Good question, maybe he didn't even realize it; (3) Member of the Keishicho (Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department), 6th Dan, 35 years old.

  • Wow,

the kote-men was really fast, not that i have to mention the speed of the stirke. He just hit in the second where his opponotent was "open". The last point looked for me aiuchi, but i think when you analyse it in slow-motion, you will see that yang was faster.

  • Who are you to talk about Chris Yang like that? His dedication to kendo surpasses anything you can demonstrate. The second point was perfectly fine -- whatever the spanish shinpan may have thought, that's why there are 3 shinpan to make decisions on points. And yes, I HAVE seen the Yang brothers at several taikai -- they follow the rules just fine. Everybody here respects them for their dedication to kendo, which wouldn't happen if it was "not good kendo."

  • I got to practice with Yang once (I'm part of SCKO), and I must say that guy is BIG!

  • that was an awesome kote-men, but that debana men should have been reds point.

  • and thats why you're a judge, am i right?

  • lol why does it seem like alot of the people ont he usa team are a little bit overweight o_O

  • whoa lol on that last point by usa!!!! holy... i wonder what it takes to be part of that usa team :\
