At the Scranton show they taped the cd's from the cameras under random seats. At the Philly show due to it being a general admission show they tossed 2 t-shirts from the stage. Panasonic is doing the promo for their new cameras. Google Jeff Beck Panasonic to get the details on how you can get a photo pass and get backstage to get involved in the photo contest. It is an awsome opportunity to get to meet one of the most humble & gracious rock star I've ever met! Thanks again Mr. Beck!
toddcohs, How did you get to meet him? Was it something to do with the camera prize you won? An 'extra"?? I was at the Philly show 2 nights after you saw this show! He smoked the place to flames with that strat. I ALMOST got to meet him at the outside door of the venue when he was leaving after the show..I was 2 feet from him but security had a fat woman block everyone on the left side of the barricades! ALMOST!! A few luckys a few feet over got to shake his hand and have some autographs.
Britney Spears is doing the same thing. You get to meet her as she shares her thoughts about `inception of the bicameral mind and poly linear programming' while she pole dances and throws her underwear around. Remarkable lady and fantastic multi-tasker.
@toddcohs Lucky bastard. I went as something of a birthday gift, 24 days prior to the day of my 18th. When they made the announcement about the disc under the seat, I thought "maybe I'll get some birthday luck and actually find out that I had a disc hidden under my seat."
I guess life doesn't always work that way. Good on you, though. It was a great event, and having Beck and Wilkenfeld play the bass together was quite a fun little surprise. I forget the name of the opening act, but it was ace.
