  • Bert Convy was such a likeable personality. He was a great singer, actor & game show emcee. July 15th, 1991 was a sad day, as it was the date of Bert's death. I was watching game shows on the USA Network (back when it was a good channel) when I found out about his passing. I can't believe it will have been 21 years this July since we lost Mr. Convy, who would have been 79 years of age this year. I miss him dearly.

R.I.P., Bernard Whalen Convy. The Heavens gained a bright star, for certain!

  • Was Bert still doing Tattletales when he sang this song?

  • @tpir1972 I know '78 was the last year of Tattletales' first run, so this would be very close

  • I just found this video.Thank you for posting it.Bert was my favorite actor and I loved his singing.I have all his songs on audio that he did on the tonight show and other shows.I didn't get a vcr until around 84.It's too bad theres not more videos of him singing.Yes,I have those broadway lps and 45s.I liked his 45 Something to think about ,that came out around 75 and was his last record.

  • He sounds just like Engelbert Humperdinck.

  • Was Tattletales cancelled by the time he sang?

  • Bert Convy has two great solo numbers on the orignal broadway cast albums of Caberet and Fidler on the Roof

  • Bert has to be considered a good singer.

  • Did Bert Convy ever release any MOR record albums in the 1970's?
