I like the review, but she talks WAY TOO FAST! I had trouble understanding certain brand-names that she mentioned and had to rewind the video a lot to absorb what she was saying.
I'm born and raised in the US but do have Irish family heritage so I guess that's where I got my very pale skin tone and freckles. Though, I'm the palest in my immediate family. I'm fairer than any shades in the drugstores and can't afford high end foundation. I seem to have the same discoloration you describe. Until I found your channel, I've never seen another "guru" address these issues and how to fix them. I thought I just had very unusual skin and it can be frustrating so thank you so much!
I wondered if you might could help me? I keep getting Foundation that seems to match my skintone but I get it home and it is too yellow.(I am right on the line between light/medium) I do have very yellowish skin. In the summer and spring when I tan a little I can match it perfectly but I have this problem every winter. Everything is either too yellow or it looks white as a sheet when I put it on. I can't figure out what to do.
Much as I LOVE Pro Longwear, I do find it looks a bit dry under the eye. However, I wore it over a black eye (from a fall..YES I was sober!) and NOBODY could tell, so you can't really complain too much!! xx
This video was great! So helpful... I know you must hear it all the time, but I really love your accent. I really hope I can see Ireland in my lifetime though I'm afraid I would never want to come back to California afterwards :-)
is it a new trend to have different nail polish colors on each hand? ive been seeing it a bit recently. oh, and thanks for doing this video! i love that someone in ireland did it :) makes it easier to buy the things
@LetzMakeup well i'm not sure really but according to their website there should be two stores in ireland at Arnotts Henry Street- Henry Street and Arnotts Jervis Center- Jervis Street. :)
Hi I recently subscribed to you and it's great having a makeup guru from Ireland, especially as I know the majority of the products you use can be gotten here. I recently watched our recommendations on skin primers and from what you were saying the L'Oreal Gel primer would work on my skin, but haven't been able to get it anywhere, I live in Dublin and work in Dublin city so have been to a number of different places and can't find it. Can you advise me on this.
Would you reccomend color correcting (for eg green concealer or peach) before foundation and remmebr not to move them too much? i saw a "guru" that corrected with green over foundation and loked... crappy is decent to say.
I have very dry skin under my eyes and the area can get very dark which makes me look, well, dead lol! Wish this video was around before I bought Macs studio finish concealer. How is the Soap and Glory one for dry skin?
I've got a heap of all different types of correctors/concealers and I'll be damned if I can get any to cover the great blue/purple pigmentation under my eyes, hereditary thing, really pale too, thinning skin also :(

Thanks for doing this, it was very helpful by the way. A full guide

What do you think are the best face (for blemishes, etc.) concealers?
I am using the Mac NW20 Studio Finish concealer but it tends to rub off my face even when I set it with powder and doesn't match my skin completely.

@AllegraEpstein Well I would have said that one, or the Vichy DermaBlend or DermaColor. x
