  • Walleye is a pretty easy fish to clean. Taking out those pin bones is only really necessary in bigger fish (16 in. and up) Smaller ones you don't even notice them.

  • nice fillets ,,,,, have you ever tried keeping the fillet attached to the tail ,, you can flip it over and use the tail as an anchor point so the skin can be removed without bracing ,,

  • go back and learn how to clean a fish and you call yourself a pro? you should never cut through any bones

  • @RyanJohnson6688 settle down chief

  • thank you for the vid... i cleaned a walleye yesterday i wished i watched this before i cleaned the fish!

  • whats that silvery part of the meat? does it have to be removed or can you eat it as well? sorry, new at this. :P

  • @kalashnikov662 Normally, if you have silver on any fillet, it is harmless. That being said, if you do indeed see silver, it could mean that you have bones as well. The silver itself is harmless, though.

  • @kalashnikov662 It is also worth saying that bones and silver combo are most common with panfish.

  • the cheek is a wast of time!!!!!!!! plus the is no meat on the cheeks!!!!

  • i don't care what anybody says..as far as fresh water fish, walleye is the best tasting fish to eat..
