ya they like to get smacked just a little to get them going, I just painted her in my garage she is all black now looks bad ass from what i see, when its out in the sun is the real test. we had a bad paint gun so things might look really bad but idk yet.
dude our old pickup has a smallblock 400 and the little buzz u have when u turn ur ignition sounds like my blazer same steeringwheel too awesome truck!
The 408 in this truck wont even reach the first temp mark. so its just a little over 100 degrees. it came out of a 79 gmc sub with a 4 core now its in an 84 with a 2 core radiator.
nice truck man..the 355 is the way to go.. i have a 74 350 .030 bored over to a 355 with 3.73 gear a 12 bolt rear , after the motor eat the stock 10 bolt... very nice truck please check mine out
355 is the way to go.. good street motor that what is in my jimmy gen 1 350 bored .030 over starts every time runs real strong on the street never over heats .. have you done anymore to it yet?

exept when you have 2 bolt mains,, and i have a roller camed, 1 peice rear main seal, 4 bolt main 383, that won't overheat as easily as the 400
