It turns out there is a benign explanation. It is ice crystals above a thunderstorm and when lightning strikes within the cloud (which you don't see in daylight because it is inside the cloud) the crystals are charged and re-oriented by the EM field generated by the strikes. There are other examples online. It is rare but it does occur and is a known phenomena.
Well I'm glad you held your ground & didn't listen to that male voice that kept hounding you to move to another area. Your photography was fine there & indeed, if you had moved, you may have missed out on a couple of those reactions, whatever they were.
Without a doubt, that was very strange Eyewall41. That one cloud did appear to have a solid shape to it. The light movement gave me the impression that the cloud was a craft of some sort, and something moved on the craft that was reflecting light (such as a mirrored door being open and left opened); thereby, the movement caused a different direction that the sunlight was being reflected towards.
Yeah I was originally thinking it may be some strange electrical phenomena because of that. From space they documented "jets" and "sprites" from the tops of thunderstorms so perhaps it is something along the lines of that kind of unexplained electrical discharge.
wow..that was incredible. I tend not to believe that it would be any natural phenomena specifically because it would not be sudden erratic movements if it were natural...even Aurora Borialis and sun dogs are gradual....never sudden..very interesting clip!!
It is a UFO cloaked. They are here & have been here for many eons. lol.. They are NOT here to hurt us. They could of over taken us at any time.

It looks like two different skies over laping.

Even more impressive than the original vid. Fantastic.
This is NOT a natural phenomenon...

This happened in 2000 not 2009. I must have input the wrong year in the report by accident.

Thank you for the correction. It is a real solid case and I am happy you captured it.

Original video said it was near a thunderhead 8 to 10 miles away? Ball lightning is what comes to my mind.

Yeah I don't know what to make of it in all honesty. It is definitely a solid unexplained case from all I can tell.
