But, NEVER take a healthy pigeon from the street. You are probably widowing a mate, and orphaning and killing squabs. So, just don't take them from the street :)

@Evilvips My female pigeon claims territory too. Shes vicious if you intrude into her cage. Its hard to tell. we thought my pigeon was a boy (due to being loud and doing mating dances for her favorite human) until Peter decided to lay a few eggs in his (now a her) cage. lol

If you want a pigeon for the heck of it then catch one. Word of warning pigeons multiply really fast. If you had two pigeons one year the next you could have 15.

i rescued a baby pigeons in my garden and i put it in a basket and the next day my mum killed it this is how: she opened the basket to see it and it flew out in to the house so she tried to catch it but it got away and got stuck behind the bed so she thought shes got a chance too get it and she pulled the bed and holded on the wing of the bird and it was still trying to fly and after my mum put it in the basket but too late it died after an hour (i think it might of got def by my mum shouting...

LOL great video and nice pigeon. That pigeon looks happy where it is and trust me i know a lot about pigeons. the only thing it wants is a female. Because you can actually see it is trying to attract female pigeons, If he mates with other wild pigeons then those wild pigeons will come to your house because its usually female following the male around and thats if the male flies and comes back home.
