I heard the magically acting love potions in sense have been created and marketed in ways to prevent divorces and stabilize relationships. The believe it contains the hormone oxytocin or maybe stimulates production of it. By evolutional means, love is actually not needed to bring individuals of different gender together, our sex drive or sexual instinct can do this job pretty well alone. Those emotions aren't caused by "love", they are caused by atraction, because as you could not define love, most people can't, is han invented concept to backwards rationalize stupid shit with do that isn't rational. There are a ton of words that can decribe a feeling better than the word love, that's why this word is useless and usually a mindfuck.

No more than the discovery that at its oversimplified core, the earth was a rock covered in gas rotating a giant fireball.Love is a response to favorable traits in another person. Why would we love a person intent on our harm, or indifferent to our existence? People that did, would have died out. I still need love.
