  • My first thought thy went in my head when I saw tho movie was drew fuller was not only a hot actor but a bad ass

  • I know the real Charity Keesee. She lives here in Murray Kentucky. She's changed, she's actually really nice. Her last name is changed now, she's married to a friend of mine and they have two kids together. I knew nothing of the story until people freaked out when they saw me with her. I vaguely remember hearing it on the news when I was little

  • Yes @kaikitsuki49, I am all to familiar with the true story. All because of a crazy nutjob and some wanna be posers.

  • God, that pic @3:27... It just struck me how amazing it was. I mean, Rod is this really twisted, crazy guy... And it's only in this one scene, this one moment, that he shows real weakness and vulnerability... and even just that still of the scene alone, Drew's expression... is just perfect. Vulnerable, lost... it's perfect.

This entire movie was just amazing. The lines were cheesy as hell, but the actors pulled it off. I loved it. (And, of course, Drew Fuller was just HOT XP)

  • his hot

  • omfg he is hot as FUCK!!!

  • Drew fuller is bad ass!! He's one of my top actors ever!!!!! This movie was hard core!!

  • This whole story is terrible. I gives goths and vampires a bad name!!!!

  • @sorcierenblk3000

It's based off a true story, you know...

  • I remember when Rod Ferrel landed in New Orleans, we told him to get the fuck gone. He was not wanted in town. This happened at the Crystal on Decatur. He was braggin about a couple of murders and some blood drinking. We don't take too kindly to chummers gloating about their crimes in NOLA.

  • I noticed a lot of incorrect info here posted on Rodderick. Too much is needed to be explained, and I'm not going to list it all off. So in short, watch the MSNBC Investigates special on the slayings, find his police confession tape, or just write to him or give him a phone call (If youre into that stuff). THAT info is correct, not the rumors you find via people not involved in the case. Sorry, but I hate when those god-awful rumors are spread. ;)

  • I like Drew so much

    ^___^

  • Drew Fuller Is So Hawt!! x I Wish He Was In More Movies... x

  • he is very hot

  • whats the song called in this?

  • do you feel the same - silverchair

  • Drew Fuller was so great in this movie. :D

    Not to mention absolutely gorgeous.

  • This is based on a true story...they were from Murray, Kentucky. The "Vampire Motel" has since been tore down...only a wall remains. I love that when events are turned into movies the characters are attractive. This couldn't be anything further from what these creepers actually looked like. Nothing like glamorizing and making a profit off of something gruesome.

  • my ex bestfriends mother was heather wendorff she told us the real story her and rod were together at the time she didnt let her watch any vampire movies and i dont blame her its easy to become obssessed with it like i am

  • can u tell me the full true story please!

  • well she said rod was her boyfriend at the time and that him scot dana and charity walked in there one day and killed them she didnt know until one night one there way to new orlans he told her she was interigated and found inocent but the others werent rod was up for the death penalty until they droped it to life in prison which he still is

  • can u tell me the full true story please!

  • Rodrick Justin Ferrell (born March 28, 1980) was the leader of a loose-knit gang of teenagers from Murray, Kentucky infamously known as the "Vampire Clan". In 1998 Ferrell pled guilty to the double-slaying of a couple from Eustis, Florida, becoming the youngest person in the United States on Death Row. Ferrell told people that he was a 500-year-old vampire named "Vesago." He was also diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome, essentially a form of high-functioning autism.

  • On November 25, 1996 (Naoma Queen & Richard Wendorf were found beaten to death in their Eustis home. While 42-year-old Richard Wendorf was asleep on his couch, Ferrell had entered the home & beaten him multiple times with a crowbar, fracturing both his skull and ribs. When Queen had found Ferrell in the home moments later, he bludgeoned her to death, bashing her head with the crowbar.

  • The victims were found bearing burn marks in the shape of a V. It was said that the V was Rod's symbol which he accompanied with a dot for each person he considered to be in his vampire cult.

  • Ferrell and the rest of his clan fled the scene. After four days of driving through four states, the group was found in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It is believed that Ferrell liked a video arcade in New Orleans and they were headed there. One of the girls placed a call to her mother in South Dakota. The group needed money and Remington thought her mother could help them.

  • But Remington's mother informed the police about her whereabouts, and, after negotiations, Ferrell, Wendorf and the rest of the teens agreed to be arrested at a local Howard Johnson's hotel.

  • On February 12, 1998, then-seventeen-year-old Ferrell pled guilty to the murders, claiming that the others travelling with him were innocent except Scott Anderson who was simply an accessory. Anderson was convicted of premeditated first degree murder, sentenced to life in prison, while Charity Keesee and Dana Cooper were convicted of murder in the third degree.

  • The Vampire Hotel, as it looked prior to its demolitionThe tendency of teenagers to be drawn to this group, and to the charismatic Rod Ferrell is thought to have been helped by the presence of a ruined structure nicknamed "Vampire Hotel" that sat in the hills of the Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area located in southwestern Kentucky and northwestern Tennessee.

  • Following the murders, the Vampire Hotel was mostly destroyed and the roads leading to it were closed off in an effort to stop its use as a secluded meeting place. Most of what remains is a large foundation, resembling a bunker, that extends out of the steep hillside. Scattered bottles and charred piles of wood serve as indications that visits are still made to the structure, located on the heavily wooded hillside overlooking Kentucky Lake to the west.

  • Graffiti remains as a reminder of the structure's role in history. Skulls, pentagrams, cryptic numbers, and phrases remain, including "Follow me to death", "Deposit dead bodies here", "Those who came to this place fear not even evil", and references to the antichrist can still be found on the approximately 10 foot high portions of the foundation walls that remain exposed.

  • i am reading this book right now! WOOOW

  • My friend and former grad school classmate at both Long Island University (MA) and New York University (PhD), Aphrodite Jones wrote the book, "The Embrace." I'm pretty sure her work was the basis for the film, since I haven't seen any other account of the case and I am a professor of English, so I do read a lot! I can't say I know well the author of every book I read, but I do know and trust my old friend, Aphrodite Jones. — Doctor Joey

  • The Vampire Killers - Clifford L. Linedecker if you can find it.

  • Rod Ferrell and his mother had nothing but problems. If you see a pic of him before he went gothic he is a good looking guy. But once he really lost it damn did his looks go to the dogs. Drew Fuller is soooo much hotter then Rod any day. But the book was awesome.

  • Roderick Ferrell was actually pretty damn hot. And still is even though he's in jail and doesn't have his long black hair anymore. Maybe that's just my opinion cause I'm a sick fuck and have a thing for goth boys, of course, my current boyfriend looks dead on like Rod Ferrell. Roderick, or should I say Vesago, is actually very bright... hasn't really changed a bit in his beliefs since he was sixteen, except for the fact that he has matured a lot...

  • The real Roderick Ferrel's one ugly cunt. Looks like a right psychopath... which he was.

  • yeah, i think so, 2!

  • btw i have a video of the real Vampire Klan and you can see that Drew Fuller is so much hotter than Rod Ferrell!

  • @bloodlust808 Everybody is hotter than Rod Ferrell.

  • @DeadBirdsFly yeah but some people have been posting on here that Rod Ferrell is hotter than Drew Fuller, just thought id put my view across lol

  • @bloodlust808 Lmao. Gross. Definitely prefer Drew Fuller over Rod.

  • The Song is Silverchair - Do you feel the same

  • It's funny how the movies made her parents look good looking and innocent. Rod Ferrell in real life was more good looking then that dude. Electric chair might suck but lethal injection isn't that bad I don't get why all sates just don't inject.

  • how would you know? have you seen a picture of rod farrell if ya have can ya send it 2 me or tell me wer i can find it, thanks

  • eh...i jus seen rod in real life on your file...and NO he's not! drew fuller is well more good looking!

  • Hey, what song is this plz? Thanks....great fucking video =)

  • i love Roderick Ferrell. read the book The Embrace and you'll understand
