@Mysterbyg I KNOW @_@ That pissed me off. The ending of SFA3 was also disappointing, because they were setting up the anticipation for his encounter with Akuma, and then nothing happens at the end. THEN, when SF4 came out, I was hoping for Adon to be in it, and I was hoping they'd continue on the way it was meant to be! NO. They completely snub that good storyline! All they do is rehash the stuff with Adon and Sagat that was already over, and done with! I'd like to see Adon own overrated Akuma.

@Fudgaboutit Capcom forgets their own storylines. I'm actually playing tjhe game right now and had to double check if Adon fought against sagat in A3. Apparently, he did, and BEAT him. Talk about a rehash of a plot.

It's the first one. That's odd though, since I haven't heard it pronounced Add-On. I've heard it pronounced Ay-Don a few times before, though I always thought that that sounded kind of wrong in pronounciation.

i agree that adon should be in sf4, but cammy and sakura are in so i don't care too much. but adon did seem to have some type of uniqueness so i have no idea why they took him out. only possible reason may be popularity, but on that note i wonder how popular they expect rufus to be.

bro, rufus was a waist of space...and so was blanka, and dhalsim...they could have easily replaced those guys with Guy, Cody, Birdie, or Adon...either way a waist is a waist...

Rufus is a very strong fighter, hes been the victor i many of the tournaments help last year. Blanka and Dhalsim are SF staples. You can't have a "good" SF without them. Guy, Cody, and Birdie never really had a big history in SF and Adon....well... after what Sagat did to him in SFIV you shoud know why hes not in it.

Er, Street fighter 3 was prety good mate (as in, the best game in the series). Didn't have to resort to re-using Dhalsim and Blank for that one.

Sometimes it is better to take a chance and break from the past, or all you'll get is the same again forever. I like it when they try new things, even if they don't always work.

He just beat Sagat once. And that time Sagat was thinking about his defeat on Ryu. And he was barely reacting. And yet he severely injured Adon.

They did fight 2 or more times, though... and those times Sagat easily annihilated Adon.

Anyway, I agree that Adon should get more consideration. I think he should be in a future version of SF4, along with some other "Alphans".
