wow! it must have been awesome to be there! they're all great in their own way..america had it right with everyone except with taylor hicks..still don't get why he's up there with those amazing singers and artists...my faves though are carrie and david cook! but the others are awesome as well!

@krayze Sorry you don't "get" Taylor Hicks. In order to appreciate him you need to have to have a little knowledge of his style of music .Obviously you don't.

All the winners won for a reason.. because they entertained people and people voted to keep them on the show the following week. Every single season had a better technical singer that didn't win..great singers are a dime a dozen but this winners group had something special that helped them rise to the top.
